Does anyone have a relative who or has served in the armed forces?

Personally, I had a relative who died in WW1 www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/33528/FELLOWS,%20P%20J

I even have pictures of him

My family line has always been military, dominantly Navy. Both of my parents have served, my mom was in the Navy for 5 years, my dad is currently in the Navy working with NSW Group 3. My aunt is in the Air Force, currently stationed in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. I also have a cousin in the Marine Corps, he recently enrolled at MCRD.

The military has naturally been a big influence to me.

My sister gave 20 years to the navy. So proud of her! :) she retired at the ripe old age of 38.

I have ancestors that were at the siege of Charleston in the American revolution.
I have ancestors who were in Company K (the Sprott Guard), 23rd South Carolina Volunteer Infantry, in the Civil War
My dad served 20 years (USAF)
My dad's brother served as an army medic in the Korean war
My dad's sister served 20 years in the USAF
My first father in law was an infantryman in the Korean war
My late father in law served in the Navy in ww2
My brother served 28 years (USAF)
I served eight years on active duty (USMC)

It runs deep in my family.
