Hi mondo, what's wrong with your iPhones.? Any other reasons beside u want to purchase an iPad or just for the sake of playing dogfight? If no other reason, then its not worth buying. Seeing a dentist because u r having toothache is a good reason, but seeing a dentist just for the sake of seeing is not a good reason. If your iPhone Is faulty or damaged cannot be use is a different issue. Your $600 keep it for raining season if u ever need it then make use of it for other better reasons rather than to spend an iPad unnecessarily. Well unless ure rich dude. :)

Mondo I usually play on an iPhone 4s but recently had the chance to start a new account on a borrowed iPad (not sure which model but a new one).

In my opinion the iPad gives a huge edge in performance. Especially in head on and distance, but chasing too. As a "noob" on the ipad I got many many more kills and many fewer deads than I did at the same level on the iPhone. Experience and familiarity with the game might account for some of that, but not all of it.

The controls are a bit more jittery on the pad and it takes getting used to holding it up but once you adjust to that (in my experience) you become a killing machine. Almost to the point where i think it gives an unfair advantage against other devices especially phones. Your target area is bigger, your bullets are like the size of Ford Pintos, and bullet trajectories are way clearer.

My challenge to players who regularly use iPads and dominate games is to try switching to a phone and see how good you are. You might be surprised!

Your health is much more important than a game or any devises. I went to the dentist just last month, had two wisdom and a Miller pulled, either way wasn't much fun playing under meds...lolol but you know I tried...hahaha

I dont want you to have trouble passing squad physical exam

you can have the best technology but if something is bothering you then it wont be worth it. try android phone, they have bigger screens and are not part of the elitist appel group

Hey Mondo, first thing first: your health is way more important. If after that you choose to get an iPad, I can pass this on. I play on a 2. I also have a 3 that was given to me at work. The display on the 3 is insane! I put the two iPads next to each other when I first got the 3 to see if there is a difference and couldn't believe how much better it is. The 3 is like looking at HD versus the 2 looking like an old tube tv. Don't get me wrong, the 2 is great for playing this game. Bopes is totally right. I also have the game on my droid incredible and will not even waste my time trying to play on it. I just use it to check in on the forum from time to time. I can barely see anything on the phone screen compared to the iPad. One problem though. I play with motion on and after the first week or so I started to develope some serious shoulder problems from playing. Even had to go to the doctor for it (damn I'm old!!) anyways, hope any of this helps. See ya up there!

Mondo198 wrote: Hi again crew, I may have been a bit too literal mentioning the dentist example, my fangs are fine I was just saying that to get the best advice about anything you should go to an expert and thats where the best pilots in this game are! right on this forum, so take a bow dogfighters a lot of you are top shots and clever tachticians, Kptn Singh and I were discussing the ipad vs iphone choices a little while ago and he came up with some excellent ideas in favour of both! And Jimboslice, you should have a job as a salesman too as you have dangled a big carrot right in front of my eyes!! If and when I make the big purchase how can I tell " She who must be obeyed" that I lost $600 out of my pocket, and found an Apple retina4 on the side of the road on the way home from work? :-) :-) you have all been great with your advice, thanks again Mondo198

Easy story.

"Honey it seems strange things have been happening to me all around. First while I. Walking out from work, my e color full of $600 blows away and I couldn't catch it. Then as I'm driving home, in the corner of my eye i spot an iPad just laying there. I check to see if no ones around and BAM I snatch it and head home. You happy hahahaha it all lies!!!"
