Just curious...is there or has there ever been serious thought given to implementing squad wars on DF, not to mention any serious effort to that end? At this point this seems like a bait and switch gimmick...

Look Enigma and Falcon just finished a squad war. I believe it started because o an argument. No one won and all it did was make to squads complete enemies. I don't get it.

I have alot of respect for many members of the other squads. I would hope that the acts of an individual would not be viewed as the entire squads intentions. As for squad wars, I thought it meant one squad reds and another squad blue, not a Hatfeild and McCoy senerio.

It does. The rivalry between us and the 111th has always been friendly.

Well, the Enigma Corps and 111th Falcon Squadron were the first two successful squadrons because both had people who really put forth the work and effort.

Since it was just us for a while -- someone had to stir the pot. A member of the forum (whom I wont disclose) who had jumped back and forth between 111th & Enigma had been spreading a lot of rumors between the squadrons which caused a lot of strife. Everyone talked it out and figured out, "Oh look. It was this dolt behind it." and everything has been fine since.

Enigma holds no animosity towards the 111th. If anything, we're more likely to be allies against any newer squadrons that arise.

Solid members on both sides. Real genuine people.

So you 2 would team up against me?

Which goes to the original question...is there any serious effort to offer this "red/blue" squad war option, or is this all a lot of blather....?

I think there should be an option in squadron manegments where you declare war, peace, and alliances.

Would you explain the point of alliances?

Its also i believe, good that both of these squads are run in a professional manner - it all comes down to how serious we are about our flying. not just squads, dare i say it - organisations within the game.

Well I always thought squad wars would be a certin way but people say it as differant. So if it turns out how everyone says it will then there won't be anypoint to allies enemys.

so do we maibe in the future have the chance to play squads wars?...really hope so..besides the war in more literally way...a real one with planes...lol..i know we must be pacient...we will...specualy leaders...better i may have more time to get stronger and inprove our squad...no hurry...lol

I am in a big hurry, but i can wait for zup. I just want a start forward answer so we dont get our hopes up for nothing. If he just told me that its going to be couple of months before squad wars then fine by me, but if he keeps saying that squad wars will be released in few days Nd they aren't, then i M gonna be pissed
