What's the stupidest thing you've ever done to a computer.
Mines just happened right now.
I was planning to install a 1TB HDD to replace the crappy 250GB HDD on a acer AST180-UD360A (yes it pretty old

)
So when I'm done installing the new drive and the system unit is on, I see it gave me the windows failed to start properly.
So then I'm like ???? And it gave me two options FIX THE PROBLEM OR START WINDOWS NORMALLY.
I click both and it sends me back to the same error window, so I check the maximum capacity the computer can handle and I find out that it is 400GB. I'm like rushing to take the HDD out because I'm basically force feeding the computer.

I'm sitting here now with him, he has his old 250GB HDD in him right now. I'm just patting him and apologizing to the poor thing.
