Hi Whumper, besides posting here you PM or private Message. The easiest way is to click on the bubble icon located on the bottom right (of the pilot you wish to pm) users profile. you cam also click the private messages above and to the right. You have to know exact name or scroll down the users list.Typing in the first letter of name will get you close.
As far as the plane there are a lot of talented pilots here that might help. Post a request in the banner thread for starters. Try asking on the Falcon site also! Keep and eye out here as you might get an offer. You will need to tell them what you want and probably have to have downloadable pic of crest. If you just want Crest you can just insert img file in your profile editor. There are instructions if you search for avatar pics.And if you want to find something specific use the search. it on a tab right above welcome, Wumper. It takes a little practice to find your way but it's really not that difficult!

To set an avatar, go to your profile and click 'Edit' on the right-hand side of the page. Go to the 'Avatar Image' tab to set a profile picture.

As of now, unfortunately, you cannot add any customizations to your in-game plane.

Yah like Luna said just go to edit then click the avatar tab the there should be a be there and click it then pick ur pic that u want and boom u have ur picture!!!!!!!!!!!
