I remember hearing something somewhere about how you can use Cydia to connect a wiimote to use as a joystick. Anyone know anything about it? Because I recently jailbroke my iPod and I would like to try this out.

Sure thing, what sources do you have installed? I'm pretty sure it's on either the Big Boss repository or the Hackulous one.

I just downloaded an app that connects the wiimote to my galaxy s2, but no luck getting it to control anything but guns on dogfight. I was really hoping to be able to use the joystick on the nun chuck.

Since I have trouble holding my phone I developed a holder using the box it came in.
Recently, I came across MINI-PLUNGERS. A trip to the hardware store for some PVC parts to adapt it to desired angle and larger grip and now it handles like a joystick. All for less than $10.

Hope this helps someone.

I have an iPhone 4 through sprint, and I am wondering if I jailbreak it, will I still get connection and access to calls and stuff like that? I know it's worth it to jailbreak because I could use some apps that are only available if you jailbreak, but I just want to know if I still get cell service if I do.

The cydia app starts with a "B". I honestly can't seem to remember it at the moment.

I believe the cell service still works, because there are tons of tweaks for AT&T and stuff. But DO NOT jailbreak until the warranty is out of date. I suggest greenpois0n, just btw.

You need your iPhone, your cord, a computer, and between 1-3 hours of time.

Or jailbreak me... but with the new IOS 6 update, they probably have not updated yet which means all the current jailbreaks require tethers... I hate tethering because if my phone shuts down, I have to plug it into a power source to turn it back on =.=*

More like 5-10 minutes. It isn't that hard nowadays.

1-3 hours back on the 1st generation iTouch -- sure. You had to do it all manually through SSH.

But it should take no more than 5 minutes to jailbreak your iDevice. What exactly are you using that takes "1-3 hours"?

Redsn0w, LimeRa1n and Green Pois0n should literally take 5 minutes tops.

Yes. The plunger one. Still fine tuning it. Works great! I can't hold the phone well without it. Imagine that your hands are asleep & you still feel pain. It's weird how our nerves work sometimes.....

I remember reading its now technically legal to jailbreak except for I pads. So it may actually not void the warranty like root I.g androids.

...It was only "illegal" for a brief 2-3 years with the release of the iPod Touch & iPhone. Legal battles happened -- Apple lost.

Apple still tries to say "Hurr durr, it'll void ur warrenty guize!" -- but this isn't the case. It isn't hard to "unjailbreak" your iDevice. All you need to do is delete any jailbroken apps you have and delete Cydia. That's it. A friend of mine once needed to get a replacement screen on his iDevice. But it was jailbroken. So we deleted everything, took it to an Apple store and bam. Replaced in a few days.

Don't fall for Apple Propaganda.

Jailbreakme.com is as simple as a restart. To unjailbreak, just restore a backup that you create before you jailbreak it.

Anyway, I know AT&T as well as T-Mobile have a ton of towers out and everything, and I know you can get better service if you do jailbreak, but I am with sprint, wont that cause issues if I jailbreak?
