im not sure if this belongs here or in the serene knowledge thread but this is a fun lil experiment. You guys might think im weirdo after this but oh well, its not like something you didnt know allready

what you need:

plain envelope
your five fingers

your tongue
soap n water


start by washing your hands thoroughly like a surgeon would before surgery, now dry them completely. now lick your first finger and apply it to the glue side on the back of the envelope. now do the same with the second finger, now the third, and now the fourth, maybe the fingers on other hand. Take care never to put the finger that has touched the glue surface back on the tongue.

can you taste the slight envelope glue taste in your mouth

you can lick the glue part of the envelope and check if thats the taste you had in your mouth. I discovered this because I dont like licking envelopes so always used seperate fingers because I was paranoid about the glue chemicals

do we have taste receptacles on our fingers?

half of my friends get the taste while the other half didnt, it might be something genetic

this is how i fly !!! :)
