Ok I see valid arguments on both sides of the issue (I'm kind of sorry for bringing this up btw)
I dont see how we can have any event that asks other people to play differently based on a new event some people want to play. think of it like this, its like recess, hey guys we want to play four squares, but we are allready using this area for dodgeball. Guess what if we want to play four squares now we have to play with the likelihood that we will get hit with dodgeballs.
so all participants would have to agree to abide by the conditions of the games "as is", and I think that would make it more interesting and fun. instead of participants saying "stop it guys we are racing" you just roll with the punches and if you get shot down by a non participant so be it.
I like manfred's ideas as well. He has said that it should perhaps be one on one initially. That would make for a simpler match. We can test a prototype with just two squads competing in a simple game and go from their.
again, please have faith in us. Major squads have enough built in moderating (Falcon report a pilot utility for example) that any flamers etc would be kicked out of squads.
lol, calvin
in your earlier message you referred to bomer as boner. whoever put those two keys next to each other is responsible
