first of all sorry about the morbid question

but the truth is we are all gonna go and leave an empty shell behind

I been thinking about this lately.

most of the world either buries or burns. And I been looking into alternative ways.

Most Sikhs burn their dead due to culture and tradition but I have checked our scripture (SGGS) and it pretty much says that
once the soul is gone, the shell becomes irrelevent

So, I looked into Zoroastrianism. They believe that we should let nature take its course and let it get eaten up by animals. I would like to do this but I dont think you can do it legally

any advice on how to do this would be ggood as far as legal advice

If i do this on my private property will the city come in and remove me even though im on private land owned by me?

I don't see why they would take you off your own land, if your death has been documented and you died of natural causes.

Put the ashes in a bottle with a note saying gone home
Throw the bottle in the ocean

hopefully more people start thinking like me and I can go into business operating "zoos" and "natural post death environments"

Oh, I was thinking you owned a bit of woodland or something. In a backyard,it'd take quite a while for scavengers to decompose you. If you were buried underground with no casket, it might go faster.

as far as being buried, thats not natural, because if I just drop I dont get buried you know what im saying

maybe backyard is a bad environment cuz its not natural, maybe somewhere in appalachia

I got it! Dig a hole. When you think you are about to pass, go lay in the hole. Now, to bury yourself I can think of two ways.
1. Rig a "dead-man" switch so that when you do pass and release the switch the fill dirt falls into the hole on top of your "shell" from some type of mechanism.
2. Set it like a trap using your "shell" as bait so when an animal comes along to "dispose" of your "leftovers" the dirt fills the hole on top of your "shell" and the unfortunate creature. Hey, more food for the worms. lol

When i die I want to be dropped out of a plane at 50,000 feet into a rain forest. That should make a nice good human slushy or human paintball lol.

I'd like to be disposed in the ground.

I'll get us sort of back on topic with a suggestion: Whatever your ultimate return to dust, consider registering yourself to donate your organs. Lots of people are waiting for donors to save their lives. It's a great way to depart from this world. Kind of a Huge Last Act.

(Then again, if there's any inkling of truth to beneficiaries of organs taking on some characteristics of their donors, then maybe the previous posters should stick to their original plans.)
