I like to dogfight my way to complete a mission. I can sniper a little bit but don’t’ like risk shooting into crowds that have my teammates. The mission I like least is the “capture carrier” because too many players digress into dogfight mode and the mission goes on and on and on. I’m guilty of doing this too if I get sucked into 2 or 3 “capture carrier” scenarios in a row, ugh.
I enjoy bomb carrier mission since it seems to incorporate all aspects of the game and includes a moving target.
I also enjoy picking up bogey’s that are on teammates tails.
I really don’t like getting shot down by a tank. There’s just something wrong there. I kinda just have to lol; but oh man, really. It’s happen to me twice, by the way.
I don’t like that you can’t shoot parachutes. Silk burns right?
Sometimes, I target aspirants from behind but never shoot them down. I usually only do this if there only a few players on each side. If there are boat loads of players on both sides I don’t pull any punches.
I try and not engage bogies already picked up by my teammate (unless that bogies a well known General) and there are also at least one or more veteran teammates behind that teammate.
I get very little satisfaction when I shoot paratroopers but really enjoy destroying tanks. Not sure why.

I felt that way at first, too. Then, I took off my snow boots to feel the rudder pedals. What a difference!

I like the people in the game. There are a lot of class acts in the game. Nothing like seeing people apologize when they shoot you on the runway or quit to join the other side to make the teams fair. Higher ranks helping the new people. Awesome experience!

Yeah, the social aspect is what makes dogfight great.

Black, im gonna have to correct you. You can kill by shooting the chute. It takes roughly 10 hits to do it. As for not liking to shoot the parachutes, if you play watup, qaz, or bizzi and you shoot them down, and they take a chute, you WILL die unless you have some freakin AMAZING evasive tecniques, or kill them. Kill em. Its easier. ;) :)

Dont worry about getting killed by a tank. If they can line up a shot when your trying to shoot them, they have one chance, and you have guns that shoot ten times a second. It takes five bullets to kill a tank. If they can line up the ONE bullet they have before you can line up five, they deserve the kill. I get killed by anything and everything cuz i fly very agressively. I dont worry about it. If I may quote slender, "I got tired of it, so instead of complaining, I got good. ;) " not that your being complainy. Just kinda seemed to fit. Anyway, if you die cuz someone can make a shot better, fix that. ;) ;) :)

Hey, black flag, how would you like to join the Enigma? I assume you're rank five by now? If not, you can be an exeption. You've proved yourself to be worthy just on here, even though I havent flown with you. I just wanna try flying with you once, to evaluate you. :)

See ya in the skies! :)

What I don't like is that the more I fly, the farther I drop in the rankings. I dropped 3 places today.

The only thing I don't like about Dogfight is the snow mission in the singleplayer. Otherwise, I've never really encountered snow anywhere else. It just seems to make me lose a few framerates.

Anyways, Calvin is right Black Flag! You seem very enthusiastic and have proven yourself on the forum. We raised the minimum rank requirement to rank 5 so we only have dedicated players in our squadron. That way most of our squadron doesn't end up inactive like some of the others. However, regardless of rank -- you have indeed proven yourself very active and we'd love to have you on board! If Calvin is vouching for you, I know you're a quality player. :)

Humbled and honored to be invited to join your ranks. Your code resonates with my own. Please let me know what I need to do to make the squad?

Snow is ideal, because then you can see the planes as well from above as from below.

It would be ideal, if i had a better device to play on....the red doesnt show up very well in the snow on my phone. My main issue is the glitching.....more so in the snow than without

I downloaded this game yesterday morning. Played the whole day n npw its 3:30 am n i am still playing it. Its really addicting. Not very good graphics but its worth playing. I loved the dogfights n the bomb the carrier missions. N won these missions as a beginner. The best part of it is the RANKS. i feel very proud wen i get promoted to a higher rank. The worst part of it is u get only 1 bob to bomb the carrier n after that u r useless. So u jus hav to do a KAMIKAZI. Neways loved doing that too. Thanks for this wonderfull game folks. N a SALUTE to all dogfight pilots.

Hello mushtaq.......after you bomb a carrier or hanger, you can land at your base or carrier to reload another bomb and ammo

Take care and have fun

If I had to choose something I don't like it would have to be............other than being shot down it would have to be when you have lined up for the kill shot and a player drops out of the game.

But often that's the best strategy out of several bad choices. I usually can't see enemy planes and mine is slower than most players', so I can either crash, get killed (both adding to my gaudily awful stats) or leave. My only choices since I can't go on the offensive.

No way to get behind a plane that's 33% faster than mine, much less piloted by someone a lot more skillful (most regular players fit that description). I can bag the occasional aspirant in a Sopwith, though.

Negative thinking breeds negative results.

I just got promoted to AC1, and was second at end of AC2, look at my rankings stats carefully. I can't see the planes either or fly as well as some others, but look at hangers bombed &
games won. (I may have finished at #1 at AC2, just need an AC2 to look.) The others had over 2000 kills. Use your head & play to your strengths. Analogy: Moving chess.

Positive thinking breeds positive results.

PluribusUnum,
I think I see your way of building motive. You try to downplay your skills as a way to lull people into a sense of superiority, false sense. :)
