Great job kicking some tail out there!
Foust, thanks for the BTC lesson tonight, the best tankers slay tanks the bestest!! Awesome outnumbered Defence.
Is this post code for to many beers at Ivars or Cuttys, or did you fall ill because of the ferris wheel?

Ok heres the story; beers a factor? Maybe.
Showed up at my uncles marina and there was a big post sail boat race party.
Side note: famous hydro racer Chip Hannouer (spelling??) from the Miss Bud hayday, had a little speech about do we even know how to sail sailboats?? Because the was no wind and the race was done under motor with no sails up!! Hillarious!!
Anyways, I had three beers and my girl and I went to fetch our gear out to the boat while the band finished playing.
We walk down to the slip number we think is my uncles sailboat. He told us it looks locked but its open. So we spend about five minutes gently trying to break in, and then I get a smart idea: lets make sure its the right boat! So I walk down the aft steps carefully, using my dogfight/everyday iphone as my flashlight. I still cant read the boat name, so I grab the hand rail and lean over the stern. Only its not a handrail, its a fold down sea ladder and I go right over into 54 degree Elliot bay.
I thought back to my summer camp training on jumping in with a brick and learning to keep it dry. I held my phone high and water went right up to my wrist, but I saved the phone!!!
Instead of spending the night tying leaders I was drying out the contents of my wallet and wishing i had additional shoes to fish with in the morning.
As i mentioned we had a crab pot soaking overnight and spent about five hrs trolling two rods and headed home with an empty icebox:( oh well, next time we're gonna slay those fish!!
