Has been about 84 posts since my last one in regards to Yorkie. I am getting worried about his well being. Use the word Yorkie and help will come.

Is this post code for to many beers at Ivars or Cuttys, or did you fall ill because of the ferris wheel?

Ok heres the story; beers a factor? Maybe.
Showed up at my uncles marina and there was a big post sail boat race party.

Side note: famous hydro racer Chip Hannouer (spelling??) from the Miss Bud hayday, had a little speech about do we even know how to sail sailboats?? Because the was no wind and the race was done under motor with no sails up!! Hillarious!!

Anyways, I had three beers and my girl and I went to fetch our gear out to the boat while the band finished playing.

We walk down to the slip number we think is my uncles sailboat. He told us it looks locked but its open. So we spend about five minutes gently trying to break in, and then I get a smart idea: lets make sure its the right boat! So I walk down the aft steps carefully, using my dogfight/everyday iphone as my flashlight. I still cant read the boat name, so I grab the hand rail and lean over the stern. Only its not a handrail, its a fold down sea ladder and I go right over into 54 degree Elliot bay.

I thought back to my summer camp training on jumping in with a brick and learning to keep it dry. I held my phone high and water went right up to my wrist, but I saved the phone!!!

Instead of spending the night tying leaders I was drying out the contents of my wallet and wishing i had additional shoes to fish with in the morning.

As i mentioned we had a crab pot soaking overnight and spent about five hrs trolling two rods and headed home with an empty icebox:( oh well, next time we're gonna slay those fish!!

Awesome Game, I guarantee they know our names MISFITS, that's right. Ghost will be proud. I've got some holes in my pants ( stretchy of course). Long hard game, but a learning experience. Thanks B.H.

Hey BTJ , it's all good here bro but thanks for the concern. I believe the MHC is US based so therefore it is you and my fellow Misfits who are most at risk from this despicable outfit. I'm already in the hills my friend ( the Pennines ), safely tucked away from the MHC. Were they to appear around these parts in their ladyboy attire, they would be chased out of town by the rugged Yorkshire folk. Sleep well BTJ, I'm a stretchy pants man, always was, always will be :) .

On a different subject, because we are celebrating our 6 month anniversary. Could all Misfits who haven't yet done so, please go to the website, and tell us why they became a Misfit. It helps us get to know you a bit better, and sometimes makes Ghost cry :( , but in a good way :) . Thank you.

Oh great to hear!! I will rest easy knowing you are safe. I do believe we are holding our own against the MHC so I am not sure it is time to bunker down and eat only Spam and mustard sandwiches quite yet. Keep fighting the good fight on your side of the pond and we will do our part over here. I may have overreacted a tad bit but it is better to be safe than sorry. (I apologize for the over use of cliches in this post) As for our anniversary I posted my story of why I joined when I joined but I can do it again. My playing is the usual reason which brings a tear to Ghost's eye. I think its time I make him cry because of a spirit lifting story rather that because I seem to spend more time with a plane on fire.

Yorkie I am impressed over the fact you are able to receive cell service and/or wifi while you are huddled deep in the "backbone of England"! Quite impressive. These damn Cascade mountains which I have bunkered into are always an issue with my ability to maintain a constant connection.

So you almost deep sixed your phone, motorized sailboat (oxymoron?) racing, you went into the drink, and you do not have crabs? Maybe you would have fared better had you purchasing a coffee in Belltown and then head over to Shuckers for a quiet and expensive dinner. Just sayin.

Maybe I gave you the wrong impression. I'm not really huddled deep within, more right on the bloody top of them. It's not anything like you get over there or in Australia or Russia. But it's just about as bleak as England as to offer. We can spot the MHC coming from miles away ;)

Do the Misfits have a website?
Would be cool to see who each other is--and our craziness.

Yorkie I can across this disturbing piece of info. It seems to be a two front war now. The MHC may have originated here but as you can see from this article the trend seems to start here but the UK is selling them. Now it seems the name has changed to "meggins" but that does not change the title of the organization. Hmmm...
