Okay. It happens. I get airborne and soon come upon him again. We pass each other and I yoyo to get after him. I can see the red marker at the edge of the screen to show which way he is but every time he is on my screen he disappears. Well almost. Every now and then I can catch a glimpse but he might as well be a phantom.

Anyway, 3 up, 3 down. Taken out by an enemy I can't see. Game becomes pointless. I say "I can't even see you , , , " then leave.

Is it just me or is this guy a weasel playing with an unfair advantage?

Ahh..the no name's. With all the lag and phantoms I almost forgot about those tool's . There should be something to prevent them from doing that its a huge advantage I think. They should be taken behind the shed and beaten with a rubber hose.

I prefer using a sack of oranges...but to each their own.

I have heard of ghost shooters. Not those who shoot ghost or our ghost shooting others but real ghosts (crap I just scared myself). Ok Im back. Had to change stretchy pants. Anyway as I was saying I heard rumour that windows 8 players have found a glitch where they (the ghosts I was refering to earlier) can take out players without them (ghosts) not our ghost, being seen by the non ghosts. I say we find all windows 8 players and beat them with a roll of nickels. Not for shooting us down but because they are windows 8 players. McFate I need the number of that therapist because it just occured to me that I may not be a real nice person.

I don't think they purposly do it the windows and phones dot really correspond but z just released the update on Windows and he said it should fix it most of the time

I started a thread about the ghosts in the gossip thread and Zup replied to it. So now he is aware that the windows 8 for pc and phone has unfair glitches in the game.

Make the recruitment as long as you need. I'm upstanding, will back what I say and always respectful.
If I make a mistake--I'll be the first to admit and apologize. My statement is true and accurate. Suxxor explained why he did it, and I understand his frustration in-game. But, I was only reporting what I saw in the chat box. Suxxor provided the detailed words used. MJA can back up the claim--but a moot point now.
Not quite sure why his reply went unread--and my statement attacked. But--that's okay. You guys don't know me as well as others.
Just please try to read all of the evidence. I've got no issues with anyone--never will.

Let's look a the "big picture" please.

He admitted to the one game.

You then admitted that it was only the one game.

But your initial post said it wasnt the only time and you were tired of it.

This is the lie. Is it so hard to admit?

I'm using a Galaxy S4--and cannot take screenshots....yet. Looking for an app that will do it, or if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Also--I CANNOT link my account with FB for some reason. I'm using the same email and password, and I can log into the forum with FB, but not join squad or edit my in-game name. It keeps stating, "Pilot not registered with FB."
I've even tried it from the FB side.

Any pointers on this?

Very good game jd and Pistolpete...I hit the quit button in the frenzy of battle. I was so mad I almost threw my tablet when I hit the button. Have had some great games with great players and enjoyed them much. BTJ, thanks bud for the effort to help. We were holding our own, was having a blast and then after being shot down I hit quit instead of retry. Buttons are to close and in the moment it happens.

BH know the words that were coming from you came from me as well, however I woke my wife from a dead sleep, she thinking there was a struggle in the house and called 911. Needless to say the cops beat the intruder to a pulp (me) and now he's (me) looking to be bailed out of the slammer. Damn this game.

I found a few apps, ans it appears the S4 has built-in screenshot function. Will have to figure out how to do it.

I just want to bring this to everyone's attention. Incinerator has been a recruit for quite some time now and I have played more than one game with him/her lol. anyway, my vote is full member as long as one of us can contact and get incinerator back to forum. was in game briefly this evening.

I took the night off to finish up the bodywork on jacks van last night, removed the airbags, windshield and finished painting it. Just waiting for delivery of the new airbags, and windshield and it will be back in service. See you all tonight!

I finally had a great couple of games last night!

Everything as synched up just right. If I shot at someone in the crosshairs they went down! If their shots went over my head I didn't get hit! The plane felt more responsive too.

I suppose if your connection is lagging, your position in time and space on the server is not the same as what you see on the screen or what your enemy sees. Does the plane respond to the game physics from your perspective or from where the server "thinks" you are? For example, if you want to pull off a yoyo maneuver, the better timed your moves are in relation to your position, the faster your turn around time will be. A lagging connection would put some delay in your actions and your plane's response.

It would be interesting to see if the "average ace" has a better connection than the "average" player. It could make a difference if your internet connection (not just the WiFi) was faster. I know for myself that my performance is better when no one else is home using the internet. I'm not sure if it's better connection or fewer distractions. Most likely both!

Upload and download lag can produce different effects. If your upload speed is slow, your hits and your movements are delayed in getting to the server. So others see you moving nonfluidly and you may be shot by the guy you think youve already killed, because the server recieves his info first.

If your download is slow, info such as the guy is on your tail, or you are dead, may have occured to everyone else before it becomes your reality.

Lets say im watching a player with slow upload. He thinks he is in a constant hard left turn. When DF doesnt get enough info from him on his actions, it will project him on his last known attitude and heading. So I might see him going straight in a left bank for a while, while he thinks he is still turning hard left. I take the shot and hit even though the pilot thinks he's safe and turning still. Had i not hit him, eventually his new location would be uploaded and from my view he would disappear and then appear at the new location.

Basically if you game a lot, your upload speed is usually going to be more critical. Especially in VERY fast paced games like Call Of Duty.
