Pownage my good buddy I have got something to say:

I was in a game this morning when a "pilot" told me that you were affected by the tornado in Oklahoma. My heart sank into my stomach at the site of the chat saying what it did about you being affected by the tornado. I was soooo sad I had to go to "Duckwing Mtn" and had "the pilot" as well go there and land as well. I want you to know Pownage and all of you Misfits that I'm praying and thinking about you so much. I posted a prayer for Gina and Pownage on the Falcon Spruz site. Pownage, you have always been a great frriend to me. You and I go waaaaaay back when you were a good ol' Sky Sharks Squadron leader and told me time after time that you wanted to be a Falcon. I'm still a little sad about it all but giving my heartfelt burden for you and your family as well as Gina and her family to the Lord. Remember to give your burdens to the Lord. When we carry those burdens on our own we are destined to fail. Its when the burden is given to the Lord that we are truly free.

Anyway, I've made my case several times about my 43yo eyes being an issue for identifying targets but I still get the impression that some of you don't like to stick around when I'm in game.

Please level with me if this is true. I still kind of feel like the galoot on the beach who accidently kicks sand in everyone's faces.

I don't know. Are my tactics not okay by some standard? I have always been very into tactics. Grew up playing chess. Champion or in the top ranks in school or other tournaments.

I know some pilots are pureists and always carry bombs even in dogfights. I love the feel of an agile fast plane and can't wait to drop it in DFs or CTCs. In bombing games I often drop but also often carry and frequently take out hangars.(I think my stats reflect a pretty good ratio of hangars bombed compared to other stats.) When I drop I have my reasons. I do it to better the odds for my team; to go after/avoid a camper, to catch up to a red who just passed me, to try to distract and occupy high ranked red defenders... I've read on the forum and noticed in game that some high ranked players can't stand it and will leave the game rather than play with "droppers". In BTCs dropping can be a very effective tactic. Especially when faced with uneven teams.

I've also had many instances where I've dodged my way thru a head-on encounter and engaged in a dogfight only to have the red leave after a couple of turns. BTW, I usually only drop in these circumstances if the red drops first, I'm out numbered or if the red is very close to the target. Also occasionally to cover if there are other blues with bombs almost to target. I've been trying to engage the reds with out shooting them down until it's too late for them to respawn at a bad moment for the bombing blue.

I've been trying to do AAM in DFs. It can work if the others are not on squads so the banners look very different but for the most part in close quarters I rarely know which red I'm shooting at until the name comes up on chat.

Anyway, maybe it's all in my head, but truth be told its getting so I dread seeing other misfits spawn into dogfights. And I feel dubious when I see misfits spawn into other games and quickly leave.

But both guys r having hard times now. Pown lost his whole house :,( and randys aunts house is gone. That i kknow, no misfits are missing now. Still praying for u pown,randy, and gina. Pown I'm so sry bro we can make this hard time together. Randy if you need me to I can come and help rebuild anything you need me to. Use misfits are one of the strongest people I know and when we have a challenge we face it and don't back down. Happy my family is doing ok

Glad to see all are ok. Hard to keep up with all in the mid-west. That's why I started a thread for all of the DF family.

Please say prayers for the responders. I just received a call from one of the most masculine of men..crying. The dogs found 3 dead & two alive. My team is tremendous, but human..with kids. My heart breaks for all concerned.

i knew it!!!if some one does it the whole game and never carrys a bomb i might just leaveif hes a high ranker he doesnt need to do that,you can still get a high kill count and carry a bomb i went 56 & 25 carryed a bomb the whole time and won the game very rewarding. droping bomb in ctc no brainer, ffa no brainer, btb,btc on the other hand i prefer carrieing a bomb panicin never carries and i hate it game gos nowhere he thinks it tatics but really its kill count he sticks around for a while kills for awhile then leaves, i hate having to drop my bomb to try and kill bomb dropers :angry:if i dont drop my bomb they can trrn on a dime and kill you just like that no chance boring no fun.i think it wasteing every bodys time It only helps after you drop your bomb on a target then take out planes and you have bombers aproching and you can try and plow the road for them. Thats my thought to each his own i guess :whistle:my best game is 67 & 28 carryed a bomb the whole time .

McFate, AAM or AAA, bomb or no bomb, doesn't matter. Have fun, no "gimmies" for the "Reds", and play to win the game, you'll be alright with me. Yes we all use different tactics and strategies, after all we are Misfits right? Oh, and if I leave a game its probably a lost connection thing, seems to be happening a lot lately...
