Alright fellas , hope your all well and keeping the blues on their toes !! Anyway here's my latest spitfire build pics , now a mate of mine said Christ they built the real things quicker , yeah fair one I said but I'm not worried about the luftwaffe bombing my dining room so I'll take my time thanks

First off was highlighting the panel lines

Then using rolled up blutac I marked out the camoflage lines ( tip I found online which also softens the colour edges)

Had to do it in 2 posts ! Tgen it was on to the markings , now the decals on this kit are quite large and essentially being stickers they hide some of the details like panel lines and rivets so I'd read about miracle masks and figured I'd give them ago which means painting them on myself

OK so you get the idea and this is where I'm up to now

Now these markings are of johnnie Johnson, when you have the rank of wing commander in the raf you can have your initials on the plane and he was in charge of the Kenley wing which was an all Canadian wing hence the maple leaf , and one of the deadliest in the battle of Britain!

Now admittedly Cc's pics are better but hope you enjoy Regards Johnnie

Stopped in myself no one was around so i didn't stick around i figured being Friday night everyone is out doing something, but i do remember a time and it didn't matter what day it was you couldn't get a word in because it was so busy. :whistle:

For the avatar, when you go to your profile, just click edit, then edit avatar, then you can pick one of the default ones or you can pick a photo from your device. Pretty sure there isn't any code involved, just hit the save button after. I use my Galaxy S6 for the forum mostly and I don't usually have any issues.

It took you about 6 months to get that banner figured out...hope to see your avatar by Christmas...ok bad joke...
