Wow what a night. Around 10, I was flying, killing reds until my wife rushed in and yelled. "Landry had an accident." We had no info except our son and his girlfriend had a four wheeler wreck. I dropped the game and driving 90 mph in my jeep, we got to him in 20 minutes to find two ambulances, two fire trucks, and three police vehicles. We worked in ems for this area and when they find out who the victims were, everyone was dispatched. My son was already packaged, so the paramedic in me began working on his girlfriend. I soon learned two helicopters were dispatched. Luckily, I was able to discern neither has life threatening injuries. We followed the ambulance to the landing zone and left just after the helicopter. The bird beat us by about 20 min to the hospital (the jeep sure moves).we were to confirm no broken bones or internal injuries; however his elbows, knee, and an area of his chest looks like hamburger meat. All this after one day home from basic training...he was sent home early sure to a knee injury at basic. We are fortunate there were no major injury. His girlfriend had no major injury..Just road rash. We arrived from the hospital at 6:30 this morning.
