Sno. I think it's because Dogfight needs ongoing work due to bugs, fixes, and upgrades and loads of other things that are beyond my understanding just to keep it going for everyone on a daily basis. I've tried to understand the complexities of having hundreds of players, playing at the same time and chatting. It made my head hurt . Zup and his team only get our tiny buy fee ( I think mine was $4.99 ), plus whatever extras people pay for planes etc.
Zup is frustrated, and I can understand why. Loads of people on the forum encourage him to set up a way to donate money, so he does, and only 200 people donate. I'm not having a go at you, you've pledged, but I think Zup feels let down by the very community he thought he could rely on. There is way more than 200 of us on here.
I pledged $67 and will probably up that to $125 before the deadline. I can't afford to, and I will get in trouble if we hit the target and it comes out of my account. But I would rather that than lose what I have found here. The game, and the community, but especially this Misfit family.
I'm not ready to give up on it yet, I hope everyone feels the same.
