Triangle CDF is reflected across the line y=x+3.00 resulting in image C'D'F'.
Mirror Line: y=x+3.00
Coordinates:
C: (3.00, 3.00) C': (0.00, 6.00)
D: (6.00, 4.00) D': (1.00, 9.00)
F: (4.00, -2.00) F': (3.00, 12.00)
Figure out the mapping rule for the transformation being performed. i.e: the mapping rule for a translation up 4 and left 2 would be (x,y) *arrow right* (x-2,y+4). Please repost this with your answers. *Hint: the answers are closer than they appear, don't blind yourself from the straight and simple truth. Good luck!
Well the problem is your coordinates are wrong. The F' should be (-5,7) see diagram below:
And since its reflected in a line of slope 1 with a y intercept of 3 you get the transformation is (y-3,x+3) so (3,3) = (0,6)
