pay attention to the red circles:
1) It tells you the mission type you are about to play under the airplane name.
2) New bullet force or bullet drop. You can upgrade so the bullet goes a larger distance (less bullet drop). It won't ever be fully straight but it gets close to it depending on the distance.
3) Fuel. You can now run out of fuel. This helps for 2 situations: turn fight will end whenever one runs out of fuel, and people flying around a camp spam killing will also run out of fuel.
4) Select the number of bombs you want to begin with. The first bomb is free, all the others have a cost. You only pay once when you begin a game, you won't pay again for respawns.

Now during the game, if you click on a player name on the list you will get this popup. You can report that person from there, block them (so they are added to your ignore list and you won't get any chat messages or anything from them), or mute them (you won't hear their voice chat). You can also request to add him as a friend.

You can manage the list of people blocked/friends and so on as usual. Going into the "pilots" button on the world chat.

So far game is good. It might take some time to get used to firing and I've not yet had to refuel---but WP doesn't camp, so imagine that won't be a problem.

Saw Sid and he was howling at me. Also saw Crazed---sorry I was flying and think you asked about WW2 and having trouble signing into it. I imagine it's a glitch that Zup will soon fix.

Looks like we are seeing some real new pilots with some promise. Others that are flying with new names and are currently in squads but not wearing tags....

I agree Dire. I have seen a lot of new pilots.With the new changes Zup made I have found that the controls are smoother and i am getting a lot more kills and hits registering. I have not seen the bullet trajectory update as of yet. Has anyone yet?

Here is something to consider folks. If you are in a game with lots of noobs and lower rank type players there is nothing stopping you from using one of your lower tier planes to give the new folks a sporting chance. Some folks will say an all out slaughter of noobs will drive them away so the remedy for that is to even the playing field and make it a little more fair. Stats are irrelevant. Its all about promoting the game and getting a larger group of folks to fight against, right?

There is no real benefit in racking up easy kills against inexperienced players in lesser planes, aside from points. There is a great deal of benefit to promoting the game, fair play, and increasing numbers of players for all of us.

As a squad, let's try to do that whenever we can.

Not a bad idea, Viper. Wolf Pack has always joined in a fair fight. I'd recommend a couple of things. Right now the noob planes are jets in disguise. They fly like a bat outta hell, but it's a jet wearing a noob disguise. Easy to bring down, but would be nice to have REAL new folks. That's when this game was great and you waited to train the next ACE.

Also, I long ago gave up trying to switch to other side to balance game-- as it just tosses me in an empty game or new game in progress.

Hopefully all gets ironed out soon.

Finally got the update! All WWI and some great games this evening. Just remember to load more than 1 bomb and good to go. So far no lag.

Last week when I was playing, It seemed that almost every match had at least 2 new pilots in every playing. The games were full and the battles were really tight. This weekend its back to the usual pilots. I hope it is Zup just ironing out the updates. But I hear ya skipper. And believe this is how the pack should move forward. As far as what plane to use. I am a little confused. it seems there is a bug. So if i chose my airco, is it actually behaving like a jet?. In my update it is still showing WW1 or world wars as options

I flew the Airco yesterday and it surely didn't behave like a jet. What folks are seeing are ww2 players who selected the "mixed" war option in the game you selected ww1. Their top tier ww2 planes appear to you as an Airco or EIII. Its a bug that still needs to be ironed out by Zup and updates.

I question the wisdom of a category that consists of 1914-1945.... why not just make the selection choices 1914-1918, and 1939-1945? Who is going to choose to fly the 1914-1945 with an Airco, Nieport, SE5, or Schuckert vs. jets or Spitfires?

Either way, right now if one player selects mixed wars he or she can be entered into a game that all other players selected ww1. Thus the Airco on steroids

Yeah , I'm back everybody! I've missed you all and of course the game, I had a little trouble reinstalling the game but all systems are go now!
