Mrs. Manfred (not her real name lol) and I are coming up on our 20th. I hear it's a Platinum year. I was thinking of dyeing my hair platinum blonde for the occasion, but that might not capture the essence of the event. BTW if anyone has suggestions, I am all ears.

Mrs. M. puts up with a husband who travels like a madman, and kids whose mission in life is to make each other's life difficult. And then I get home from travel, and I'm little help. I can't find my way around a kitchen, and I don't know where anything is around the house. I swoop in and add a level of complexity to what otherwise would be straightforward child rearing ("but Daddy said...."). And yet she loves me and makes my life complete.

Aw, I've been sipping my own concoctions too much tonight. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts Dave. Here's to all the spouses who are the backbone of the household.

Manfred

I'm unmarried. I'm too young and handsome to take myself of the market just yet. Maybe at 100.
Nice going you guys.

First let me say congrats,Dr. Dave, may you have many more. About the spy network, they don't need one, after a few years they learn to read you like a dime novel . I believe my wife sometimes know what I thinking before I know what I'm thinking. Lo.......

Think you're going Crazy? Great! When you get there look me up and I'll show you around.

Howdy fellas!

Sorry I haven't been around much. Not playing a lot lately and time on the forum is usually catching up on squad posts. I'm alive and kicking. Just haven't had a lot of time for DF.

Jack, the next round's on me!

The construction guys found this little guy last week. I didn't bring him in cuz I figured we'd want something non-venomous.

Lol I was a little perturbed that the construction guys simply tossed him over the fence. Little kids in the yard and all that. But at the same time, I know that once we're done constructing, there will be a clearer line between human space and wildlife space, and the critters will generally stay on their side of the fence.

This is so much more "out there" than where I grew up, where the worst thing you might run into on a day hike through the forest was some poison ivy.

Anyway pliss, cousin Jake is safe under a bush somewhere on the other side of the fence.

If y'all want a pet snake, you're gonna have to keep it away from me. I've been bitten twice (yes, in real life). Once by a Water Moccasin, and once by a Copperhead. Little to no damage from Moccasin (dry bite), major swelling etc from Copperhead (not so dry bite). I realize that all creatures have their place in this world, but not always near me. Btw, my Uncle extended a warm greeting to this rattlesnake he found on his farm, near our family cemetery... This was taken a few weeks ago...

Well by most accounts Slenderman is pretty tall and strong. But I guess you mean a drink.

Here's my favorite long day closer. Irish Car Bomb - glass of Guiness with a shot of whiskey, and a Bailey's chaser. Foaming, chug it down!

Hard week, Jack. Need some strong, black coffee, since I go no-alcohol.

Bombed my own hangar to cure some stress, just to exorcise a little; swop put my name on the blacklist before asking me in private about my reasons; another drama came up; Max posted something trying to help, I misunderstood his words, he got upset, and I am here waiting for him - I invited him for a "men hug" washed with some whiskie and coffee. If I get sleepy on this table, please show him my direction.

What do you mean with "twice", Bell?
If its about that bombing issue, I already said: it was only an isolated act. Out of angry. I am already relaxed... :P
Be my guess with some brazilian coffee - java coffee is too expensive, and I dont believe Jacklpe have it on stock...

It's a way of speak.
Meaning if you do something bad once, it's not so bad, but if you do it again. Then you made it a habit.
And we know this was your first.

Two Brazilian coffees coming right up. Maybe something stronger to follow? But all man-hugging must be finished before I serve up the hard liquor. Bell, care for one? This is really expensive coffee! Cheers you guys.

Ok. Long as we are done feeling our feelings now... I don't know about a man hug... How bout we punch each other in the face and then shake hands. But, hey, conflict resolution is one of our things around here.

I'm in Salina, KS tonight. Wonder if that's in JasonMC's neighborhood? Other than that, nothing much going in real life.

And Paul... If you want pee in your coffee, your gonna have to add your own. We try to serve decent stuff in here now. Now if we can get Ped to bring us in a good supply of Brazilian coffee to sell, that'd be awesome.
