So, I guess my question is what is the point/advantage of having squadrons? Is it just to be in the cool kids club or does it actually present some advantage in the game?

right now, none, but the soon the server will match players on the same squadron so you can be on the same team or game

So does that mean in the near future we're going to have a bunch of games where 4 of the top 100 players will be against the average joes to be slaughtered? Or will the servers pick squadron vs squadron games only and non-squadron games only. OR will everyone have to pick a squadron. Thanks for the quick reply Z. Once again, love the game. I think I've played it every day for a month now since I found it.

Squadrons will be cool if games are only squadron on squadron and people can quit and rejoin so there is a natural move toward parity - not slaughters. The whole game would be taken up a notch if Red and Blue had separate Texting/Messaging channels which could introduce a huge amount of strategy and teamwork in regular games...probably hard to develop but worth a thought.

Well, I've been setting everything up for Enigma!

The Enigma Corps website is under construction, I just got to add a page or two -- make some more graphics, etc.

Just enter your info and select the squadron. When you log into the game you'll see on the upper left corner your squadron (if you have the latest android update installed). Also, everybody will see you with the squadron name on top of yours.

Hey z, so ive got a coulple questions. 1: id like to be in a good squad with maybeqaz, skydavis, or maybe slendermans squad, but i really still want to be able to play great dogfighters like them. Will we be able to choose to play a non squad game like the ones we play now? And 2: no one will be able to beat a squadron with wat up andall the best players in it. I can take most people pretty well, and i think its boring to be against bad players, more fun to play the greats, but playing all the best at once would be pretty dang hard. I like a challenge, but....

Well Calvin, yes you will still be able to play in all the old games and you should be able to in the future. It's simply aligning yourself with a group. However, we will most likely see Squad-Combat in the future; but I'm sure we won't be limited to it. You'll always be able to enjoy the classic Dogfight games regardless of squadron. :)

Just don't you'd 111th in the name maby 333rd bombing squadron that sounds good for a bombing squadron just don't take the 111th becuse it would just be odd having two 111th squadrons.

Why is everyone choosing "### Squadron" names? They all sound the same and might confuse others. I say choosing an actual name!

Probly becuse in squadrons the have the 1st squadron 334th squadron and stuff like that the one I'm in I like it becuse it has a number and a name 111th falcon squad.

Ya I know 111 is my lucky number 333rd was just a suggestion to the guy but yep I know thers squads with diffrent numbers 323rd 31st 2nd 4th basically any number frome 1 to infinity depending on how many squadrons ther are.

Ah, I see what you mean. That's funny, 7 is my lucky number. I was just saying, perhaps everyone shouldn't make their squad name a bunch of numbers as it may confuse some players about who is who.
