I have a question, what's your thought on weather and the new sky?
I'm thinking of removing them again. The reason is that since I added it, the number of new players staying on it has drop drastically. It seems to have a clear correlation between me adding the weather/sky and people playing less.

Any thoughts?

I like the looks of the new sky but the weather i wouldn't mind to see it removed, night game's also because i believe the timing is off and don't think that will ever be perfect.
May help combat some of the lag issues as well just my 2 cents.
Plus it's difficult to see a plane even up close, can't imagine what the phone users are going through and pc player's can just turn night off.

im old my eyes aint as good as they used to be i just leave the night and weather games .i also notice since the weather was introduced lag seems to be worse

The new sky is fine. The weather not so much. In WW1 they did not fly in bad weather or at night. In a war zone youhad blacout conditions, and all navigation was by sight, and even daytime some pilots would get lost. Open cockpits made weather a problem.
In WW2 they did fly at night due to advances in navigation, but weather was still abig problem. During the Battle of the Bulge, the allies had a difficult time re-supplying the surrounded troops due to the weather.
Most zep games i have seen its almost impossible for these old eyes to even find the zep in bad weather.
Long story short, new sky good, weather bad.

Keep sky. I like the weather, but the game seems to lag.

I am fine with the sky and weather. I would recommend you turn it off and watch what new subscriptions do. Low numbers of new subscriptions may be related to the increased cost for new folks, and not related to weather at all.

Joaquín el problema es el lag y el dinero,también el.el color de la hierba no se hacen visibles los aviones apenas,pongas los colores que pongas los aviones de cerca y de lejos se deben ver bien,yo juego con un móvil S4.apenas puedo ver bien los aviones incluso con gafas y el terreno no ayuda,también creo que hay demasiados árboles.el clima cielo y todo lo demás está bien,pero este color del terreno hace que los aviones apenas se puedan ver de día imaginate de noche.El otro tema y muy importante es que los nuevos pilotos ven inalxanzables para ellos tener un avión decente,y poderse al menos defender,los aviones son muy caros,las mejoras sobre todo en los últimos carisimas, podrías poner como idea,que todo aquel piloto que llegue a tantas partidas jugadas reciba X monedas por ejemplo,como si fuesen pack regalo.llegas a 100 partidas 100ooo monedas algo así,para qué los nuevos vean que se consiguen monedas y baja el precio de los aviones sobre todo en la 2 para que puedan comprar algo decente .Otra buena solución sería a mi modo de entender que todos los pilotos de cada escuadrón tener la posibilidad de pasar sus monedas al piloto que eligiese dentro de su escuadrón, así no sólo recibiría las de las compras sino que el que quisiese darle monedas para que mejorase sus aviones pudiese hacerlo, el o los que quisieran entre ellos.Qué todos lo pudiesen hacer seria perfecto.

I could do without the weather.

The night games and weather have a nice aesthetic but they are tough on my eyes and they don't seem to do much for the game play. If they contribute to lag they should definitely go.

I love the cloud cover and trying to follow the building clouds. Night games dont perform well. Thanks for asking for our input Zup

- I like the night/day cyclus and the looking of it, only thing: windows players are still (like in df1) able to change it manually
- The rain is good idea but only hard too see in it and also the sound of rain is really loud

I'd rather just leave it. No sense in getting an advantage, I would rather have an even playing field. I actually thought the game was updated to remove the choice for windows folks.. clouds, trees, weather, night, should all be there for everyone.

While lag is a consistent problem, always has been, might be related the weather and/or nighttime games, there is a much bigger problem going on here. The hacking of accounts and squad membership seems to be getting out of hand. Cookie, whoever he/she/they are, are destroying the game.

join game ..bomb 2 of his own hangers ..leave ..then re join he repeats this till he destroyed all hangers...

completely ruined several games.....

1 at was very annoyed at as was lot good players in ..an game been going ...for sum time..where neither team could get upper hand an win ..

been long time since had game like that..

Agree with all others who are still here---I'll take lag, weather and being kicked due to lag---but all of us are sick of Cookie. Find the culprits and ban them, please.

Just to clarify: Clouds are great! It's the lower light of the "dark and stormy nights" that can make it tough to see.

If you want new players to stick around , loose the bullet drop or decrease it by 50% . If they can get kills they may stick around.
The original game didn't have the drop , it seems to me that since its introduction more players have started to drift away. If the game is to survive the game needs to be more fun like it used to be. It is only the a few that prefer the drop , but in my opinion it needs to be the majority that count not the wishes of the few.

The other reason most dont stay is the constant camping and spawnkilling.

As for bullet drop.you can tell a second accont from a real noob account .noobs cant hit poop.
But i guess shooting in a straight line was really hard to do.lmao

well said Pagan the bullet drop was the reason most of my old squad quit i had 44 players in the black hornets most where pretty active i asked them all to give it a chance .im sure if the Bullet drop was consistent it would work but it seems to vary per game per player .why didnt we have a vote on bullet drop ? why not have a vote see who wants it ?

the weather is gone on the update
and windows players cannot remove the weather, that was a bug on df1... so it's been over 2 years since.

im still able to change dark into sunlight with f12 button on pc (dont have last update yet from today)

Just when I was getting used to the Weather to bad its gone and I rarely see any night games I only see it in the zuplen game

Could u had it a setting to turn on\off weather or night game?
