As a new pilot to the game, I am finding this post completely useless. What would be more of help is the sharing of tactical information, from all forms of attack and avoidance. But then, I guess some things are too precious to divulge.....

Joker, it seems like this thread has good intentions, but I'm still not exactly sure what it's for.

If it's a list of players who play unfairly, then you needn't have made this thread, as either everyone already knows who they are, or they've been blacklisted (if they're really bad). Also, it seems rather harsh to single out some of these players to your own accord. Did you pick these names from the general consensus or by your own understanding? This is why we have a single blacklist thread, where we report only the worst of players. Those who play by the rules (no team-killing, cursing, bashing etc; which are understandable taboos); do not deserve to be singled out, no matter their playstyle or choice of "tactics". What if some of these pilots do not wish to have their names and playstyles stamped on the front page of a thread? Perhaps it would be a better idea to have pilots freely share the types of tactics they use, instead of asking others to basically report them.

Negatively or not, you are essentially pointing fingers at other pilots, saying "You're a bomb-dropper/high-flyer/camper, and everyone knows it now!"

Again, Joker, I know you mean well, but let's avoid this controversial topic as a thread subject. Instead, why don't we post more on the Goldlist Thread? We should be quick to commend awesome pilots, rather than accuse the not-so-awesome.

We already have that SB647 has a fantastic post I copied in our reference section so maybe that is what you are looking for. You think that a refernce sheet that will let you know by name who is likely to drop and sneak is useless??? What I find useless is your post. Do you often go to posts that you believe don't have useful information for you and say this?

Again I am completely disappointed with the community we have here. Everyone doesn't take the time to read the intentions of such a thread but instead takes time to throw off handed remarks and insults. If it's not for you then don't come here. If you are upset that you or players are being singled out because they do these things then maybe they should stop of stand by what they do since this is the truth. You can post anything you like about my game and say I hit head to head, I almost always go straight up the middle supposedly like a conditioned fool. I say if you think its good to do these things then why is it bad to have a list??

I do not agree with the topic of this thread because it singles people out, without their consent or justifiable reason. These players did not break the rules, and some of them may not approve. Like I had said before; perhaps it's a better idea to create a thread where players can freely share their playstyles to the community, instead of being "reported" by others.

But, considering your statement: "If it's not for you then don't come here," you probably don't give a rat's ascot what other people may think, right?

Like I had said before; I realize the good intentions behind this thread. All I am saying is that the execution could be done with more tact. If that makes you "disappointed" with me, then I apologize.

They are being listed so we can keep track and know in advance that they are this type of player. Why is that negative in any way? Why do we need their consent? The name and shame thread was praised and it even has a negative overtone and yet no one complains about that? So why here...my guess is guilt. Everyone who does these things has a reason and while some are using them as legitimate tactics others are abusing them and they don't want their name shown as that type of player, so I say you don't want your name up here don't do play that way.

To answer your questions I feel both you and Musiki1 are throwing off handed remarks while his are more insulting since you are critisizing aspects of the thread that are completely not its intent. The statement I made about not coming here is simple, why come here and just critisize...does that help anyone I don't go around complaining about a threads purpose, if it's not for me I don't go there that's what it means and the only people's thoughts and opinions I don't care about are ones who haven't bothered to take time to understand the posters purpose and feel free to make negative comments when they are misinformed. This is a waste of time.

ok then done and over with, had to change the first post from how I wanted it to be to something that was offensive. zebra your an awesome pilot and you were on here for good reasons, but with everyone two cents it changed into what it wasn't supposed to be.but for the bad ones..not everyone gets a freakin medal pinned on their chest. but thread is shot down have a nice day I wont waste my time and effort to compile I list so everyone to get pissy about it. no further post from here and list will be takin down.

Listen, I'm just trying to make this fair for everyone. I understand what Joker is trying to do here. All I am saying is that it isn't a good idea to compile a list of names because people will easily misinterpret it as something negative.

I am respectfully suggesting perhaps you could change the tone of the thread. Make it so that people can freely collaborate and share their playstyles and make a list of these players' self-proclaimed playstyles. Doesn't that seem like a good idea?

Alright Jen might as well ax it nothing good is going to come of it anymore..I deleted the other part after Joker took out the list

I liked the idea of the thread.. and I am totally non-apologetic about my style of play.. as I do nothing that I am ashamed of.. That being said, Luna had some good points also.. and I applaud both Joker & Luna for taking the time to try and do something FOR the Dogfight Community

If I could get my tank to enemy base I would tank spawn kill

If I could get my tank onto enemy ship( dropping off bridge maybe) I would tank spawn kill as well!

These things are hard to do( for me anyway)
