I was going to start a thread like this but something told me there had to be other guitar-heads out there...so a quick search later, here I am. Nice to see all the awesome gear you guys have posted. I've been playing on and off for 10 years. Here's a pic of "some" of my treasures

Ibanez Rg, Gibson SG and my all time favorite, American Strat 57' Reissue. If I had it my way, I would turn the man cave (read basement) into a rocking studio but as any married man (read mojoless man) would tell you, that's only wishful thinking, and the closest I have to a man cave is a corner of the basement, between the crapper and noisy washing machine...we must make the master happy, oh, BRB, there she calls again....

Wow.. cool set-up ya got there with the strat custom. I currently play ibanez prestige seven string and like it, but its still a cookie cutter guitar. the stock hardware and pickups are real basic. Ill probably throw in some EMG-707s later though.
Then I found a great deal on one of those Bugera 2x12s 6262 model. it sounds as loud as a full stack with circuitry modeled from the EVH 5150 amp. So.. its loud as hell but still sounds good at low volume.

I am learning. Im not very hood right now, my grandpa plays really good. He plays bass, classical,lead, and blues. Its really neat. I have a video but dont now how to upload it on a phone.

Singh, you go from bangra to bc "Heavy Metal to the bone" rich? Nice mixing it up, and damn you have alot of instruments. I couldn't give up any of my axes, but good for you for passing on the torch.

Blobz, I've played on Bugera once, haven't been the same since...I burst my ear drums, crapped my pants and started listening to death metal...man that is one mean amp..it should come with the warning label "caution, turning the volume past 1 may result in instant death"

Kasey, very nice. The sunburst les paul is on my list for the next buy (if the wife ever lets me). I don't get to play much either. I usually just pick up an acoustic and strum a few chords when I can. So you're in Roanoke eh? We're practically neighbors

Not too far at all. I actually started working up there but found the cost of living sucked. ha ha. Yeah that guitar is awesome to play I really enjoy it when i do play it.

Man, it's stupid expensive to live here. It's like top 5 in the US! If my business wasn't located here, I would have been out long time ago to somewhere along the sunbelt like FL.

One of my favorite tones is the Gary Moore sound. I love that heavy mid-tone, warm crunchy sound of the humbuckers. I have the Iommi signature PUPS on my SG and it rocks, but it's way too hot for anything bluesy. I just went to see Joe Bonammassa in concert who also plays the same 1958' Les Paul, kick ass show, highly recommended.

Ive gotta say... Im a bit more darker than that. Heavey distortion, power chords. Metallica, Godsmack, Stained, a little lighter is 3 Doors Down or Bush. dont tell no one but I like bon jovi too. Awe heck, I like everithing and after a few beer Ill try to play it with the right company. ha ha
