Hi to the entire Dogfight Forum,

anyone who read this threat knows, that HatinRing took some real nice pics of the Group Flight in Duckwing's Honor. He posted them here already but later on he removed them because of a lower quality of the pics. He send me the pictures per mail and gave me the permission to try to post them by my own. Many thanks to you HatinRing, without you this tank salute was not possible.

Man this guy was a real legend. Wish I could have just had one flight with him. He truly was the best! I love the 21 gun salute for him! Can we have a duckwing day? For the glorious Duckwing1! He deserves it. I just had to bump this thread back up in his honor. I remember this thread fading away when I first joined, wig was who taught be of duckwing, and if u knew how to change my name then, I wound have Changed it to salute him. Wish I coud have met him and just said thank u for his sacrifice to this great country.

If you remember on this forum there should be a write up of mine on my real life ingame story with Duckwing that I gave where he coined and told me first time in dogfight "I will never bail" and told me in game what was going on with him at the moment in the game. Just seeing the chat in game where Duckwing said "Thanks Swop for praying with me, it means alot". I wish I could find it. I get chills and a tear everytime I think of that ingame moment with Duckwing.

It was an honor to lead a 21 gun salute on the top of Duckwing as well..I think someone posted it on the forum. I sure do wish I could find that one too...We pilots getting into tanks heading up Duckwing and we said a little prayer and did a 21 gun salute right on the top of Duckwing....

If anyone could find those threads and/or posts it would be really touching.

Kes or for anyone....I think there is a thread started about the naming of Duckwing Mtn on the Forum....THATS where I think the the story and the pictures of the 21 gun salute on Duckwing Mtn are....I'm at work so finding them is VERY difficult.
