lol!

But to turn to something more serious. Have you taken a look at the Chinese electric scooters and mopeds?

When I was in Shanghai three years ago I noticed they had 100% phased out combustion enginge mopeds in favour of electric ones. The surprising thing was that these things, that in fact rolled about effortlessly - and almost soundlessly everywhere, also had no obvious battery compartment.

There must have been a lithium ion or perhaps zinc-air battery somewhere inside the frame, but the tubing (the roomiest part of the frame) was only about the size of a man's arm.

This photo is just one of maybe a dozen different types I found on the net. I can't imagine they cost all that much!

Being a dyed in the wool DIY man myself I cannot do else than just admire and applaud you!

My maxim is that "I can make anything as well as any carpenter, blacksmith, turner, what have you, can do, only it may take me a few hundred times as much time as they would use to reach perfection"

Time is not be important thing. Safety is!
It will do 40 mph, but it is a bicycle.
20 mph or 25 mph is perfect.
It is reinforced in many ways.
All safety concerns are addressed.
I have enjoyed many miles so far. I am a BIKE! I am INVISIBLE! Meaning: Drivers do not see me!

RADAR! THIS IS A WARNING, NOT A CHALLENGE!

AND THIS GOES THE REST OF YOU!

AND WEAR A HELMET! EVEN IN YOUR DRIVEWAY!

Do you lithium battery is in the main frame in the front. My next project is a reverse trike, solar charged electric powered.

I mean it when I say use a HELMET! I was paralyzed by an unobservant driver. I would have DIED if I didn't have my HELMET ON!

i mean it when I say i use a HELMET! I have learned how heard parked cars are, and that asphault is a good alternative. ive used it as an alternative to moving cars several times too. ;) Don't really feel like learning what those feel like.....

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so careless. One kid I knew was killed by a car on his bike. I'm very careful. :)

A thank you wasn't enough. That is the smartest thing you have ever said on here. RADAR how old are you again? 30-50?

You other kids (and we older kids) let's listen to him.

I moded my bikes gear I get on check the speed o meter and I'm going 12 MPH
And next the gear freezes and I'm launched horribly
Luckly I had pads and a helmet on
