if you cant see their name, dont you see either 1) an arrow or 2) the minimap dot? i dont think a noname/small name is going to render them invisible

if youre head to head with someone with a name you cant see, its a lot more likely that they will gun you down in your little game of chicken, so it is time for a new strategy:

-have altitude
-bob and weave their attempts at long gunning you
-anticipate his move after you pass each other
-get on his six and nail him

Lol, yeah, u see the minimap dot and the arrow, but those dont give a perfect representation of where they are. Only seeing them does. It is harder, but its a skill we all need to improve here.

i didnt mean to imply they gave you PERFECT representation. Their bullets do a good enough job of that.

yes, being able to maneuver around a bullet stream, and get behind a bogey is a very important skill.

also, dogfighting on acid? intriguing...

Sorry to c this discussion die off... the issue seems to be about fairly leveling the playing field. I enjoy the challenge and learning curve of mutiple skill levels and the differences in aircraft capabiities. But, the no names ( x, .... ! for example) take much more from the game than anything they might add in the way of helping my skills develop. I am finding that my best recourse is simply to quit the game the minute I see one of these cheaters are in the game. I have no problem getting gunned down by someone better ( in luck or skill or equipment) but at least I want a chance to see them...perhaps players who don't use legit names could automatically be assigned as blimp pilots?

Dont leave, cheat in your own way. Spawnkill them. If theyre on your team, kill your hangers (two of them) then bomb three more of the other set. Youll get a five minit ban for this, so before you drop a bomb, tell him that id he doesnt change his name youll do it every time you see him. ( no ban for spawnkilling, just the hangers.)

I dont like the idea of this, its not right to kill your hangers or to spawnkill, but if its for the greater good, i dont have a problem with it.

Slender, manfred, and Mods-That-Must-Not-Be-Named, tell anyone with a cheaters name that if they dont change it, youll mute/ban them, please. (that is, if manfred has gotten his mod controls back)
