I would like to wish all my fellow wolves a safe and very happy New Year wherever you are! Remember people it's ok to celebrate but remember to take along a designated driver so that everyone makes it home safe and for those of you who are the DD, this is an opportunity get the good stuff. Traditionally the "riders" must buy the "driver" a bottle of whatever he/she wants to be left at home of course and opened after everyone has been dropped of safe and sound and you are back home as well. So take the opportunity and pick from amongst the best of whatever it is you're drinking, after all it's the rest of them footing the tab.......

This is a picture of a wolf pack. The first three are old or sick, and they set the pace for the pack. If they were in the back they would get left behind and sacrificed if the pack were attacked. The next 5 are young, strong ones. They can fight if necessary. The next group is the rest of the pack, followed by five more young strong ones that can cover the rear of the pack. The very last wolf is the leader of the pack. He can see whats going on from the back and give his commands from there.

It's truly a thing of beauty indeed.... the Wolf Pack.

Ive noticed as well, I nabbed up "ocd 4 free", I don't know the others in waiting. If Viper says they are good to go, I will accept them into HGA. So far they haven't met all requirements. i.e., an official request to join post..ect..ect..

Dear Lord in Heaven

As the clock ticks down the final hours, and 2015 becomes 2016 we ask that you might watch over our Squadron, its members, and it's leaders.. 2015 was a year of expansion for the pack.. We went from not having our own section in the forum, to having one of the premiere Squadrons on Dog Fight.. During the year you held many of us in the palm of your hands, helping our founder deal with grief, and helping a number of us deal with health issues.. You over saw this group of men and women who believe in values, to have them.. That believe in fair play, to practice just that.. You helped those who wanted the Squadron to reflect the very best in ourselves, to be the very best.. You guided our leaders through difficult decisions, and gave all of us one place in this stressful world that we could make something special out of.. a common goal from a group of uncommon people.. We're still growing, and still far from perfect, but we have a set of values that reflect the best of what we are.. and we reaffirm that all things grand in this world come from you Lord..Please watch over us in this coming year.. guide us to try and always do our best, and to give everything we can't control over to you..

A good deep growl and howl to all the promoted wolves. You have earned the right to the titles, but you have to earn daily,the respect. Never forget,you were once a level one Aspirant. You were alone, no wolfpack. You got shot down more times than not. You picked yourselves up, some one probably helped, and eventually you were holding your own. You got recruited and now you are an experienced fighter. Go forth, find those young fighters who wil be good for us.

On a personal note, I am first time up for promotion to Squadron Air Marshall. I hope the review board selects me on this cycle.

What nav said about recruiting others is spot on.. always try to help the newer player, it's a class act that reflects well on yourself and the Sqd.. and let's you keep an eye out for those players who have that extra "something" that would make them great Pack members..

I take pride in bringing Navmed into our Pack.. and it happened pretty much as he mentioned in his post.. The first time I saw him I could tell he was a better than average player, I really can't remember if we were both blue or opposing, but I do remember thinking he was quite a pilot for his rank.. Little did I know that he is quite a man outside of this game, being active in his local search and rescue.. I've said from the start that there's something special about our pack, and the members we have.. Decent big hearted people like Larry, navmed, and others reaffirm that..
