Allow me to say this off the cuff.
Twas the day after Easter, and a day after that,
that I turned on my computer and in my chair I sat.
I turned to the forum like I always do,
just to check on the happenings, to see what was new.
As I gleaned at the postings of friends far and near,
I smiled quite broadly as my Pard's post did appear.
My heart was cheerful as his words I ingested,
when all at once my emotions became infested.
It seems that Greg has been ill and quite down,
But, I'm happy that he decided to come around.
He said hi to old friends, and showed his face,
and said a prayer and filled us with God's grace.
Our brother of old in hearts and thoughts stayed
while he was away and while we played.
Good memories abound when I think of him
and I'm wishing once more that he'd join us again.
Padre is, and will always be
a friend, a leader, a brother to me.
He makes me laugh when I need it most
I smiled today when I saw his post.
He needs to be dealt with for he is a card.
He's an old Coot, but he is my Pard.
So glad to see your humor, old friend. I am truly glad to see your post within the confines of the Wolf Pack Den.
We're all thinking about you and praying for better days. Thanks for your own continued prayers. We miss ya,Pard.
