I couldn't keep my eyes focused anymore, so I had to call it quits. Had a nice game and earned my 3rd star. My best game to date, and my KDR was Positive, lol. Have a great weekend, everyone. I may be limited til Monday. We shall see what the weather brings. Enjoy the Superbowl! I'm a NY Giants fan, so I'll be pulling for the Hawks to repeat.

Thanks guys, watching your moves has taught me a lot. Some of our late night chats were most valuable because tactics were discussed. That's why I love the Wolf Pack.
We help each other succeed. We share in each others' successes. It's just too bad that only a handful of us use the forum. It truly becomes the Mecca of unity and team building when people come together to help each other grow in game and sometimes even in life.
I challenge each of you to encourage team members to make an appearance regularly. We have a new wing with lots of new pilots, some of whom I don't know at all. On several occasions now, I have been in game and seen new Wolves donning our banner, who never even said hello in the forum, as outlined in the past. I understand the want and need for growth, but let's not forget about one of the principles that made this Squad great.
With that said... WELCOME to all new Wolves! WELCOME to the Family! WELCOME to the best dang Squad in the Realm of Dogfight.

Let me take a moment to echo Myrlins sentiment regarding new recruits. I would expect the ones I have seen of late are either invited to join or have contacted one or more of us and expressed their desire to join. The first page statement regarding recruitment has not been rescinded that I'm aware. That means it is incumbent on each prospective recruit to introduce themselves on the forum prior to acceptance. While I am not a stickler for that particular rule (Not everyone is on the forum) it would be nice that those of us who are recruiting new pilots direct them here so they can get a brief idea of what we are all about.

I'm going to ask each and every one of you who recruit to please make an effort to get the new guys at least familiar with the forum. I'm sure they will like it here once they check it out.

I have experienced the same thing. Enter a game see new wolf say "hi" and ignored. This weekend a new wolf even called out to shoot me down--never seen the guy. He was not even aware there was a WP Wing-1. Wow!

My comment is in no way to be seen as an insult or attack on Wing 2 Leaders. I kind of went off the cuff with it. Kevin and Viper are doing an amazing job with the new addition. I'm not active in the recruiting role, so, I'm not passing judgement on anyone. We have a great thing here. If it works, don't fix it. I'd just love to see more activity in the forum. That's all. I agree with Viper. If they see it for themselves, they'll keep coming back.
