I was looking for a video for another thread and came a crossed this little gem. I don't know if it is the close up shot's of their gear, or the fact that these two can fricken rock, but I thought you guys may enjoy trying to figure it out!

B is talking about "Game of Tanks" but I'd heard of "World of Tanks" and blew right past his note thinking he was playing the latter when he's playing the former. "Game of Tanks" is, in fact, available on Android. And "World of Tanks" is, no joke, a mind blowing multiplayer sim. It's a model for what what I believe Joaquin can eventually do with Dogfight, if nothing else take a look at some extended clips on Youtube, you'll be floored. Then picture that kind of expansive, multi-mapped, multi-zoned, minutely detailed terrain and realism of aircraft applied to our game. I'm droolin', I tell ya.

Mm, what you need to do is submit a request to join M.O.M from within the World Chat screen in the game menu structure. Look for the "Squadron" button near your personal stats, hit it, scroll to and select M.O.M then hit "Join". A request will be submitted to me. Once I've approved it you'll be in the Squad Wars database as a M.O.M and you'll have your shiny new tag. If you haven't been notified that your request was approved within a day or so submit again, and keep submitting, with some requests it's taken as many as half a dozen tries, though it does seem to be working more efficiently lately. PM me day or night if you need any help.

The Star Chamber has decided to declare a holiday moratorium on new recruits. We have a couple great candidates queued up, the expectation of at least three more to follow in the coming weeks, so, given the fact that we admitted six new M.O.Ms last month and a dozen the month before, we felt that a break wouldn't hurt.

Since the forum is broken for most of us we're backlogging banners like Walmart backlogs the billions it should be paying its employees. Time to share the wealth! These have been collecting dust (unlike Walton family cash..."g'nite Sam-boy. Ya greedy pr*ck.") for anywhere from several weeks to several hours. It occurred to me, with no new December recruits, that a Holiday Bannerpalooza might be cool fo' da yule. Enjoy!

There are also bug-fixed versions of Martin's and Parrothead's new banners.

My pleasure, G. Somehow the squad logo got all weirdly blocky on yours and Martin's banners. How did you get the new one to install? You, Cricket, RiC0...is it an Apple thing? I try replacing my banner and the one already there reappears. It's a puzzlement.

Same as always. Just copied the IMG link into the my siggy, but yes I'm using the iPhone to do it. Maybe that's the trick. I've heard others complaining about not being able to edit their profiles, but I haven't had any issues.
