Brian257, I'm extremely jealous. I've alway's wanted a pilot's license and my own plane. Instead I've worked on them since 1985. Money just wasn't there with putting wife thru college and getting set for life. Now I have little Dent and my plan's are to pay for her full college bill..
Mrs Dent and I at the moment both have good job's so It's all going to Little Dent's Dreams. My own I put on hold again... . At 46 I think I'll just stick to RC It's cheaper....

Talking of RC Dent, is there a special tape for repairing poly wings or can I use ordinary sellotape, no I did not have an uncontrolled landing! Was practising controll of throttle on dining room floor when the cat decided this thing must be killed and one swift pounce later, wing is hanging on by a thread. If I do tape it up should I put an equal tape on the other wing to keep balance.

What plane is it Muck...That would help me with Your repair...Tape maybe all you need...I've got some foam glue that's perfect...

I have an Me109 ready to crash. Similar to that. I break It every time I try and fly it. there is a web site that sells just the individual peices. Google the company name that makes that plane. They prob have the whole wing. I'm not good enough to have a collection like dents. The styrofoam one costs me 30 bucks every time I crash it. I broke a servo and dislodged the motor the last time. need to re order the servo and glue the motor back in.

This glue Fella's. Perfect for these plane's... Five minute epoxy work's but this is the best... Will look like new when you are done....
Spare part's are a good idea also...

Hot Damn thats a nice collection and workshop Dent! My wife is kind enough to let me have my 5 square feet in the corner of the basement next to the john. Regarding all this fancy shmancy glue, D.Crockett has some R.Neck duct tape that'll hold an entire 747 together

The white water plane (Icon A5) is the all around best water plane I've ever flown. I glassed the bottom so I could take off on grass also... That model is based on a real plane that someday I'd like to own.... Google Icon A5, You'll see the RC and full scale version....And Yes I have lot's of Eflite's... I still have my gasser's also... Electric is easier to get out and fly just before work...
Almost forgot, The Icon A5 Rc has a bad tail wag when powering down for a glide. The Prop really disturb's the air over the vertical stab and rudder with no power applied, still a nice plane.

I am not happy how it all ended but I think Dogss's rant at Paul in the chamber last night (as posted elsewhere) confirmed my fears about the potential wrong happenings behind the scene, if Paul can be subjected to such comments, I'd hate to think what had been said about anyone else.

So PH, sometimes my paranoid nature is justified.

Sorry again to intrude but as my name had been dragged through the dirt since Dogss's return I feel it only right to point out that my fears weren't completely incorrect.
