i was invited this afternoon to apply formembership in MOM, by wig! and Firefox1 if i make it in, or not i look forward to getting to know all of you and continue to get shot down as those of you who i have played with know i do alot.

i would like to introduce myself

My name is Brad Robb, Robb is the last name, I don’t need any of the confusion that has followed me my whole life, in that, people always think Brad Robb is my first name. Like Billy Bob or Joe Bob. I am Thirty years old and live, for the time being until I move back to REAL Texas, El Paso Texas. for those of you who haven’t visited El Pisshole DONT its a dump. I am the Texan of all Texans. I was born here, I came from this dirt, I will die here, and return to my red dirt wonderland. I am married now for 4 years to a beautiful woman named Karina, we have no kids yet but look forward to it. I served five years in the United States Navy working on the deck of an aircraft carrier. I am very proud of my service. After the Navy I went to culinary school and worked as a chef until I met my wife. I decided at that point that I would be self employed and now I own a small commercial janitorial service, and have other businesses in the works. Karina is a nurse at a doctors office. I cook a lot, one of my greatest passions, Karina and I go out dancing most weekends, (my mother was old fashioned, I had 4 years of ballroom dancing lessons) but that may need to be cut back as I am a large Texan (6foot6 325) as the knees are a startin to creek. were are home bodies mostly, we watch our shows, read a lot and now i play dogfight religiously. anything else anyone needs or wants to know to know I am an open book.

It wasn't you Bopesy, mine was jacked up too, but you cleared it up for me. Thanks!

Rider, welcome to the forum and the thread. Fellow squid here, although I wasn't on the big luxury liner like you. I spent my sea time on an Amphib and Destroyer. Half the time on the destroyer was escorting the big flat tops and retrieving the squids that were blown off. SK2 when I got out. Thank you for your service, sir! SALUTE!

If you make the muster, we will have to work on the Texan hierarchy. Too many of you jokers around here already. Tiny works for me tho, Paul.

Last word of advice, our recruitment process is thorough (slow). The Star Chambererers (Oldest Dodgiest Codgerest of MOM) are very dedicated (lazy) when reviewing applications (source of great entertainment and fodder for ridicule). Many applicants (poor saps that don't know any better) grow impatient (impatient) and move on to apply to other (lesser) squads. Please be patient ( insert your thumb in your....) and the Star Chambererers (senile old coots) will process (crumple, lose or burn) your application as soon as possible (when they bloody well feel like it). Please be advised (I told you so) it can take a few days (weeks, months, decades) before you hear anything. Meanwhile, feel free to read and post (intrude) on our thread so we can get to know (focus all sorts of jokes at your expense) you.

Lastly, I have an additional question. Cook does not mean bake. We here at MOM are interested in cake above all other culinary prowess. Are we to assume your reference to cooking means your adept at preparing the requisite sustenance?

Marty, the link works. That is if you were trying to post the LL Cool J song "Momma said Knock You Out" featuring clips of Bruce Lee.

Usually there is a "share" link that I use and select email as the function. I then copy the link from the email and cancel the message. I then paste the link in my post.

Folks, I must confess. Was in a BTC game in the wee hours of the morning. Somewhat outnumbered and had a teammate picking daisies or something. But, did plant my bomb and as I turned for home had a red no-name join the game. I spent the next five minutes splashing him unmercifully. My only regret was that Mbello entered that game and got between me and my no-name magnet. Apologies M, it was morning madness...mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa...

Thank you parrot head for your welcome. i was an AO1 (redshirt) (for about two weeks) when i got out after tearing a tendon in ankle. I thank you for your sevice as well,RETURN SALUTE and i thank you for pulling some of my less cautious skittles from the drink.... i can assume from the seniority (old age) of most members you and i served at diffrent times (seeing as how more and more sk jobs are going to contractors). iwas on the linclon, IKE, and the first crew of the reagan fromm 99 to 2004.

i will wait happily the reqired time for my application to be proccessed, i was taught to respect my elders (old people like yall) and i realize that with all the visits to the uroligist (viagra), poditrist (prescrition SAS shoes), trips to the hospital (hip replacement), going to the store(buying prune juice), and going out to eat (going to golden corral at 3:57pm to pay for lunch and eat dinner) that when the day has ended (after re-runs of JAG, and walker texas ranger) youve had a full day. So take your time. I have submitted a FULL application including ALL bribes and un-reasonable requests (per rule six) and will gladly forward to any MOM or gold star member that asks.

after examining the members list, i realized there are lots of texans among yalls ranks, i like this. we texans are a special breed, we are a country unto ourselves, we have ALL the resourses and types of climates and lands as all the other states combined, we have produced more actors, Generals, Admirals and US presidents than any other state in the union, we have the 13th largest economy in the world. we are the best, so it stands to reason that when joining clubs, groups, faterenal orginizations (ie MOM) we would want to belong to the best

Last, i CAN prepare all reqired sustenance as i am a classicly trained chef, i dont do pastry, but certan "cooks deserts" i can manage (cake, pie, tarts, ice cream and so on)

EDIT: i want to clarify something tat didnt look right to me, i was AO my entire time in the USN, i had only just made 1st class(e6)

Ok this fella get a tentative, thumbs up. I don't recall having yet flown with him (sorry if we have) and I won't hold the Tx thing against him, even if he has been to the obligatory Texas is the Best brainwashing school, jeez YEMX I think the USMC boot camp instructors at PI can learn a thing or two from that school. He's squiddly enough for me.

Yeah I was in from 92-99. I have a close friend that was on the plank owner crew of RR. I'll PM you his name. Chances are you won't know him, but who knows...

So is Wales bot

EDIT: Trippy post layouts.. . ! ?

I cleaning out my top draw and found a lot of friendly fire and post edits in amongst the crayons and felt tips, sketches, important notes, smurfs and psychiatric reports.

Friendly hits...
I try very hard not to hit blues in game, alas it happens and I say a sincere sorry so and so alot. Sometimes it's my long shots. They are long and Friendlies fly into the tracers, sometimes it's too busy and someone gets struck, sometimes I can't stop feeding the rat with the trigger thumb. NONE of my friendly hits have EVER been intentional, now and again sloppy I confess, but please accept my humble apology now and in advance... I have hit Zuperman, .wig, Davy, actually nearly everyone. sorry

Who is Bart anyway? Heck of a long distance shot. Never seen the bullets lol....I don't always like jumping into an aggressive game. Usually takes me a while to warm up.(about a game or so to warm up).....anyway, just curious. He flie in a familiar way.

HEY YMEX, THAT WAS A GOOD GAME, SORRY I LEFT, I HIT THE QUIT BUTTON BY ACCIDENT, OLD AGE I GUESS.

ALSO WITH THE NEW UPDATE WHEN I FIRE THE AIRPLANE BECOMES VERY DIFICULT TO MOVE A SLIGHT DISTANCE TO THE SIDE, IT IS LIKE FROZEN UNLESS I TILT ALOT, ANYONE ELSE WITH THAT PROBLEM?

I did the same that game, hit the quit button so it is old age, not sanity.
I get the steering prob but put it down to lack of skill. Thanks for that!
