our wing 3 is doing very well and we have many good candidates for the air marshal job. only problem is we really don't need 20 air marshals in wing 3. so JJ recommended, pink approved, and i accepted Jasta1 and Raz as air marshals for wing 1. congrats to them! i am sure they will carry out their duties and represent us well!

the only people that ever get assigned to a certain wing are air marshals. they are sent to the places we need them. for everyone else, they can go to whichever wing they like as they will still be in g.i wherever they go. the rank you have attained in g.i is universal among all the wings. so if you are a wing commander in wing 1 and move to 2 you will still be a wing commander, and so on.

This is only suggestive but seems we should have an innactive wing, much like an injury or inactive list on a sports team. An when active for a month or a couple of weeks. can go back in an active wing. May not be able to implement this but again its just a suggestion anyhow.

Good suggestion Ace, and all are welcome, Basically that is why we have the 90 day rule, for there may be a perfectly good explanation as to why they are absent, and so in cases they may only demoted, thanks for the Imput Ace, much appreciated.

I like the idea of an inactive branch: I volunteer to be its Moraf. It could be Gunners Inc Reserved. What say you?

And of course I will always be available to spell KK whenever he needs me in wing 2. But I think Solo could take KK's place if I am manning GI Reserved. Solo is a FORCE.

I have another suggestion, HB and KK. Since we have a lot of up and coming Air Marshals, why don't we make more wings with some of them in charge. They are multinationals. Solo for instance could be in charge of his country and recruit among his native tongue. We have so many leaders. Raunak definitely should be a Moraf for India.

To me it would cause friendly competition amongst up and coming gunners for one stay active.which is in part of what gunners is all about. it would also hold a spot for people that are way over the 90 day rule. When they come back they can earn there way back to there wing and rank within the squad. Exeptions for all active military that serve there country. Could have them send a leave of absence notice. I also think that elim would be a rock star running that inactive squad or any other leadership role within the squad. He's been a great influence on up and coming gunners. And elim is appreciated by the many that he's helped and patient when being asked crazy questions..lol. Again this is only suggestive in nature and just idea's. Good day all. And rock on Gunners!!

It brings me no pleasure to tell you that I have seen a trend of late of some of our newer pilots wanting to go in world chat, and ask to join another squad while wearing my beloved tag.....this i will not stand for i.just booted Johnny test for doing it ...I consider this as a slap in the face to every member who loves this.squad dear....let it be known if u wanna leave then leave if u wanna stay stay ......don't think u can jump around back and forth...and it's ok cause it's not...

Jj, I agree with u on that issue 100%, u have my full backing in that category. That type stuff doesn't look good for the squad, or the ones who want to hop around. Me personally, I was brought into gi by someone whom I won't mention, but I'm glad I was brought in. Gi is one the nicest, and best squads in the df world and I wouldn't have it any other way:)

thanks Raz! Same thing happened to me yesterday, except it was me and a Moraf, vs 2 other Morafs... then my Moraf swapped sides to join the other team! grrrr... all good though because one of them must have felt sorry for me, in a game today (no names, but if you look at the top 100 he is better than 99 of them lol) was giving me some very handy tips which I didn't know about before and my KDR has improved a lot!

firstly, let me say wow! it is very cool to see many new ideas and our pilots taking a genuine interest in the future of our squadron.

our little thing here in g.i hasn't always been this polished. we started at the bottom and for those older pilots who can remember that, we have come a long way! the important thing that i keep in mind at all times is the future and how we can shape that through our actions of today.

i see much pride in our team and i am proud of it too. not all squads that start out recruiting from world chat make it this far. one of my basic strategies is to simply put the right people in the right places and let them do their jobs. we have a lot of good, solid officers now and i strongly believe they are the true future of the team. our alliances are solid as well. we have DD and WP on our side and i am very happy to have their support. i'm sure they don't mind having us around either.

as much as it pained me to leave frontline service and focus more on administrative tasks i am always smiling when i see someone reach their goals. it reminds me of when i was clawing my way up to moraf!

keep it up gunners! and expect to see some new ideas worked out and different ways for us all to enjoy the company of each other and the game we all love.
