I love this game and the brotherhood that develops between pilots, but as I learn more about flying, I am learning that faster does not always mean better and maneuverability is gold... Keep at it Gunners, and keep jigging, you can create a victory by out-maneuvering your enemy...

Hey everyone. My world and squad chat aren't working for now. In game works for the most part. Goes out in game occaisionally. So cya in the skies. If I dont chat at ya I will wave my wings if not tryin to dodge bullets lol.

I've wondered how to handle that. Lately I try to switch or not fire at my own unless they fire first. But also It is hard to change sometimes and get in same game. Then at times I fly the side i'm handed and figure my GI brothers and sisters know it is all in good fun. One should practice against better pilots to get better and Gunners Inc certainly has fantastic pilots. cheers

that is a good question, sharp. while in a perfect world we would always fly on the same team as other g.i's that isn't really how the game is set up. everything about the battle is random, and trying to manipulate the teams doesn't always work.

if i enter a game on the allied side and there are already 5 pilots on the german side, it makes no sense to switch even if there is a g.i or two on the german side. on the other hand, it is a very good idea is to switch if i enter a game on the german side and there is only 1 or 2 people on the allied side. help out the outnumbered team if you can. as a rule of thumb, the german side will outnumber the allied side 8 times out of 10. so i usually only like to switch if i enter the game german.

i'd like to finish this rambling post with a little story.....

when i was accepted into G.I gunnerzz was the moraf of the squad. the first night i flew with the g.i's, i watched gunnerzz, by himself, hold off 7 pilots. i think there were 3 or 4 g.i's on my side (the side gunnerzz was fighting). that inspired me like nothing else has in this game. and after seeing that, from that moment on, i knew that true g.i's go against everybody and don't give up.

sometimes it's not about winning or losing, but how you play the game.

Well put brother hb!! Ohh how I rember that game too haha you zebra and slayer don't rember the others haha and I new I had zero chance of winning but you gotta make the best of every situation with what you got and thats in this game and real life as well!! All of you GIs inspire me daily. ..The brothers and sisters of GI are truly awesome people as well as pilots!! Without all of you this game would truly have little meaning to me....Thank you all!! guys I got promoted to III Air Vice Marshall today. Other than that, had one hell of a game in which I landed 6-8 (I lost count) bombs on a carrier from the tank! don't have a screenshot for that one.

Other than that, I am going to get quite busy for the next few weeks, so probably wont be as active. I will probably catch a few games on weekends, and less stressful days.

while I was busy I turned of dogfight on my pc then 1 hour later I went on it again I went throught the world chat and found my name 9000! saying something's like my wifi is crap I think but I don't remember saying it have I been hacked

To keep in track of the less inactive people if you guys accept this job which I can do ,then I will everyday right everyones kills and deaths and see if they change every week make a tally and post them here .

Ill Start tomorrow sometimes I get bored of killing to many reds lol so I go on the forum for half an hour or more.Im the personthat goes on the forum nearly all day

we can always use "wing watchers". generally it falls on the moraf of the wing to determine who is and is not active and what they will or will not do about it. that is one of the perks headaches of being a wing leader. i am sure your help will be greatly appreciated. if you joined wing 2, let kamikaze king know of your plan, likewise, if you joined wing 3, let khemist ace know.

The yee old question of switching, most times lately I try to switch but end up in a new game so ive decided just to stay where I am, I do feel sympathy when I see a G.I outnumbered but its only a game..and a good opportunity to embrace the moment and enhance your skills..and being outnumbered (story of my life) but that is my favourite past time..I deliberatly outnumber myself coz I like it, always lose but have most kills in these situations... im a adrenalin junky.. long live G.I and to all that reads this.. my appologies for in game silence my chat doesnt work.. see yas in the skies.........

That is my philosophy although I continue to try and help our squad members .I really don't mind being out numbered either ..I need the practice. And I don't have much luck getting back in th e game as well.

If you check the pilots with '9000' in their name, more than 20 will pop up. I just found a rookie masquerading as "GI.9000/ALT", level 3. Seems like you have developed quite a fan following.

9000 has a fan club!? Dude, you must be doing something right.

Switching has become nearly impossible these days--tosses you in another game and forced to shoot my pack or GI's. grrrr!
