this game is really fun and I really wanna buy it. But it crashes all the time on my phone samsung galaxy 3 so frustrating

have not had any trouble with app crashing since the update, on my samsung S3

I play on an sII and just came out from a ffa. Left it because I couldnt c anyone bu they could c and shot me down. Dont know if its the samsungdevice or just a glitch. Just thought I tell you.

do you guys use jelly bean 4.1.1? I don't think it's a connection issue it just crashes to the Google play

I do not think that is the problem cno Android version, for your information I have a 4.1.2. I insist that the game is not currently going through one of his best moments with the servers, is temporary.
As you may have noticed a real lived this game (at least for me)

no connection problems that I am aware of. The game crashes back to the Google Play screen. I can re entry the game. But then it usually Crashers once again after about 5 to 10 minutes playing.sometimes sooner

I tend not to when you say that the game crashes. Crashes means you can not enter? You play for a while and the connection is lost?

I can enter just fine. I can play for a while and then the game closes to google play.ie crashes.

As usually when going through updates there will be challenges:
Game crashes on selected devises
Slower speed
Invincible planes
Fast soldier, speeding front wheel drive tanks with very short tank shots.
Carrier game without water, and maybe a visiting Zep.
The list can go on and on. But as pointed out, fixes are on the way.
Past practices in these areas gave me some patience. maybe we can just share our challenges considering we all use different devices, and as well email eccoboom apps, so that there aware as well. So these fixes can be applied. Again as Zup- pointed out there are some short delays whether running on Android or apple - these changes will take time running through those servers and back to you/me/everyone. Just be sure you check your settings : you may not have select auto updates or vise versus - be on the look-out.
We know the team does its very best - let's continue to support that....

Enzo, maybe it's my operating system version. My Samsung Galaxy S3 recently downloaded Android 4.1.1, and I am experiencing the same "quit" problems described here. Game plays for anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, sometimes 8 minutes, but then the app quits and sends me back to the home android screen with the desktop icons showing.

As for Google Play, if I just re-downloaded the game, and I open the app from Google Play, then when the game suddenly quits, the device just goes to the Google Play screen.

Guys let me know what your Android version is on your S3, and if you are experiencing Game-Quit symptoms. This may help Zup narrow down to an Android version. I don't think my carrier has 4.1.2 available yet.

Same stuff with my tmobile samsung galaxy s3. I recently used kies to download something "new" but after all the downloading (close to an hour), it's still 4.1.1. The kernel etc. might be newer now. But same game behavior as you. Freeing up memory with Memory Booster seems to help, but background apps keep loading and eventually I am back down to just a few seconds of play before it quits.

I down loaded a app from play store called advanced task killer for my samsung gs3, i still lose conn but not as much. Sometimes i con play for 5 mins sometimes longer. When i play a dogfight game i can play until the game is over.before the download my gs3 cutout constantley.

Now i bought a samsung note 10.1been useing it 4 about to weeks and lost conn 1 time.

im down to 30 secs to 60 secs of play time before the app crashes

For all of us having problems, go to settings, about device, scroll to the bottom, and take a screenshot that shows the Android version, Baseband version, Kernel version, and Build number. If you or anyone happens to have a rooted Samsung phone that is having Quit To Home Screen problems, let me know. Zup would like some help in getting error logs for this problem, and only rooted phones can run the log app in this android version.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy s3 phone and the app store says "Update", try downloading the new version that is available to you. He made a specific change that might help - if it does, he'll ask Samsung to bake it into their software (as I understand it, his change to Dogfight code is a workaround for a Samsung problem, and if it works, that's proof to Samsung that they have a problem in their Unity3D software, or something like that).

It still doesn't do anything better for me, but maybe my S3 got hosed somehow. My symptoms are: with nothing else running, 0-2 minutes before Dogfight quits; with Advanced Task Manager on Regular Kill (every 1 minute), Dogfight lasts 0-10 minutes, so a little better.

Questions from Zup / Samsung, for people having Quit problems on Glaxy S3's:
* can you trigger the bug in practice mode
* are you just flying around and suddenly everything stops
* do you get the option of sending a bug report

For me: I will try practice mode and chime back in. Quits sometimes result in a screen freeze (1 out of 50), but the other 98% of the time, the screen goes to Android Home. I can't pin it down to an action like chat or firing or hard maneuvers, but sometimes it seems like I'm just flying along and as soon as I perform a maneuver (sudden screen change), it quits. But I'm not sure about that at all. Finally, I do not get the option of sending a bug report.
