I just got banned not 5 min in a game and I really don't have a clue. Id like to know since I'm still learning the ropes. If I broke a rule I need to learn from this. I know it wasn't bad language cause I don't use it and further more I didnt use the chat. Hey I'm all for punishment for breaking rules but you have to let the bad guy know what he did.

Hi Mach,did you teamkill anyone or bomb your own hangers ,if you did a warning should have come up on screen.

Negative. I believe it's insane to kill team mates. Heck I have a bit of a problem gunning pilots in the chute.

I didn't see any warning only that I was banned

The moderators will need to know your ingame name to be able to answer on why you have been banned.

First thing I would do if I was banned is to read the blacklist thread to see if I was blacklisted by someone.

Ok, am I to believe if some one has a personal gripe with you or carrying bad feelings because maybe u shot them down a week ago they can push a button and extricate u from game play and not have to provide a reason nor take credit. I don't even know who or how does one ban some one???? I'm not sure I if I want to play under these circumstances. I'm rather surprised because from following issues going on in forum most game members sounded pretty fair and honest. I really enjoyed this game.

This on top of 4 or 5 days ago having about $130,000 in my game funds taken from me. Some thing just ain't rite here.

I had an a game about a week ago where I got " kicked". It came up on the screen right before I got booted back to the main screen. Same thing - I hadn't been using chat, and I defiantly hadn't teamkilled or bombed own hangers. Also to my knowledge there were no mods in that game to kick me? I was able to jump straight back into the game and carry on playing so I just put it down to a glitch. Possibly similar thing happening to you? But like bellsaj said, a mod should be able to tell you.

Black listed? What in the world, what's going on. I have no clue what would bring that type of negative repose Down on me. I'm a fair and straight arrow. I have no problem with discipline and following rules.

Go to RECENT TOPICS, scroll down to BLACKLIST, post your question there. A Moderator will answer your question. That's what it is there for. Players who get banned are usually there pleading their case. Any Mod can tell you what's up. It may be a glitch. Beleive it or not some players just want to mess up the game, by Spawnkilling or Teamkilling, Sitting on the runway in a tank. Mods check the Blacklist often. They will help sort this out. Just so you know, only a Mod can Ban you. A player can report you, but not ban you.

You might have shot down your allies

I didn't shoot my teammates. Is this the black list?

Zep game:- you can banned for hitting your zep when you're meant to be protecting it or for shooting team mates (mistakes still equal autoban)

BtB:- shooting/bombing a team mate/tank or hangar

BtC:- shooting/bombing a team mate/tank

DF:- erm,,,,not possible

Banned and reported for 5 mins is a generic screen and a longer ban will say the same thing.

Assuming it was an auto ban, everything will be back to normal and you might never know what caused it.

Mods can/will be un identifiable from time to time but you are normally warned before any action is taken.

Thanks Plane for your response. To the best of my recollection I did not commit any of the traitorous crimes you listed. I know it's easy to accidentally put some rounds in your teammate in the hot pursuit of an enemy. I've had it happen to me several times. When im responsible after seeing it listed on the screen I feel terrible and always speak out my apologies to the team mate.

Auto ban¿ Sounds like that's built in to the software of the game. Thats all well and good but soon afterwards there should be something about why the ban was tripped. This would allow the subject to be aware and careful not to repeat. One of my personal rules in regards to making a mistake is part of being human but "never ever make the same mistake again".

It's not hard to do in a Zeppelin game. Often your target is lined up with the engine (as that is his goal) and when you are approaching from behind trying to shoot him, stray bullets can hit the engine if you aren't careful.

I don't think that I have ever seen you ingame so I don't know how you play, but if you play like you say you do, I think as Mr.Green stated, go to the blacklist and ask why. If it's a glitch or there have been some mistake they can help you sort it out and get you back up in the air.

Sometimes there is several players with similar names. Lets say Killer_1 does something bannebal and when the report is made it doesn't clearly shows the name on a screencap. Then maybe Killer 1, or Killer-1 gets banned instead of Killer_1 by mistake.
I'm sure the moderators will help you, and the blacklist thread is the fastest way to get their attention.

When the game itself senses a traitorous kill, bomb, or balloon pop, the warning says 5 minutes, and you get 5 minutes. If a moderator thinks you are conducting game-ruining deeds and hits their Ban Button, you will see a 5 minute ban warning, but it will be for 24 hours (or more if they intend more and renew your ban after a day). If you cannot get in the game after 5 minutes, then a moderator did your ban. Or maybe a glitch, but I haven't heard of that one. Of course, new glitches happen all the time.

Either way, like everyone's said, go to Recent tab, look for Blacklist thread, and post your issue, your ingame name, and see if a mod replies after a day or two. They are volunteers so it can take a while.

That black list if I read the rite one is 169pgs and goes back almost two years. I suggest the list be inverted showing the most recent first. I checked it several times and saw no mention of my name. now to post my request do I go into the black list and start out with New topic. At the beginning of this mess I went to the mod page and requested help. A response asked for my in game name of which I provided but havent received an answer.

Thanks Manfred appreciate your help. Ether way glitch or broken rule I really would like to know. If I did something wrong I need to personally address it and not do it again. A glitch well stuff happens and I could easily put that behind my parachute pack.

You are being a bit impatient: (1) with the mods, because they don't monitor the forum 24/7 plus one of them would need to see your post here in the blacklist thread and then ping the moderator forum for "who dunnit" to speed up an answer. And (2) with yourself, as you get used to using the forum. We're trying to help.

As for #2, yes the threads show earliest on p.1 and latest on p.Last. Just like you are Replying To your own thread to post here, you Reply To the Blacklist thread to post there. Don't click New Topic in a thread, it just starts a new thread.

Another tip is that you can read the end of a thread by clicking on the "2 new messages" lonk when you lookna t summary, like Recent threads summary. Of course this assumes a frequent reader, so yeah the interface is confusing when you are a new forum member.

Be very clear on your post to blackliist what your ingame name is, even if it's the same as your forum name. A lot of people use different names. That clarity will cut down the number of cycles you have back and forth with a moderator, and they'll figure things out that much faster.

Mach2 is the name I fly under.

I can not find That name in top players or mod panel. I'm sorry. I will be gone for a few hours. Hopefully another mod shows. They can't do anything without your game name .

Go to the top right of a forum page, and click on Tools, then Top Players and Your Rank. You can do a search for your name, and Kevy's right, "mach2" is not showing up there. Strange. Kevy can do partial searches on the Moderator Panel, hopefully it's there.
