Why the second accounts that are made just to insult?
Such as someone named [M]CC dummy and black pigeon ghost
give tme a reasonable explanation as to why someone would go to those lengths to piss someone off

They have no life but world chat.

Never forget how sad and empty some people's lives are, they only have the anonymity of the internet to hide behind while they try to get their 5 seconds of fame

Ah yes I sometimes lost track of who you were in the multiple accounts u use to send me pm’s. I did not know who was sending me the pm’s but as you did in game when u use your multiple accounts to insult others; you made clear to me it was you just having fun and joking around. So do not understand why are you so shook at this kind of behavior, witch very clearly u sponsor. I guess you still like playing games.

There's always been the random troll that would float through, but it's not a blood sport with zero points or perks. What fame can you get from a silly made up name in a virtual plane game?

WC is only name call, get muted, whine about it...wash and repeat. Pull the plug and direct new players to squad threads.

The reason people do things to insult others or troll a forum or chat room, is to get a rise out of people. If they were just ignored then they wouldn't get their jollies.

Totally agree with you Dire , WC is proving to be just a gathering ground for the ones who don't have a life . A lot of them seem to load the gun then watch others fire it . They snivel and hide behind second accounts because they are afraid . All we can do is feel sorry for them and come to the realisation that this is is it for them , this is all they have . Their local entertainment is WC as its free and all they can afford . McDonalds is probably their once a week big day outing . Just makes me feel better about my life .

Oh there's a difference BHG is a kid still trying to figure out his place in life and has made a few mistakes along the way, unlike the adults in wc that troll on a daily basis looking for easy bait as you called it just to get a rise out of a teenager. Few and far between are the times I spend in WC. I can remember a time when BlueMax would let people know where he would be flying, so you could either take him on, or avoid him like the plague. Anymore, I never look or type anything there. Its kind of like driving by the garbage dump, Hold your breath and drive fast. Avoid the STINK.

He is 19 I believe, thus he's able to vote, therefore not a really a kid. However, I do agree, there is a difference between a 19 year old and the 40+ trolls whom seem to have no real life but troll WC, and then whine when they get muted. "But I didn't do anything to get muted".

Also I agree with Hulk, WC is basically a garbage dump so I pretty much ignore it. Rather than waste time chatting, I'm living a real life, or playing the game.

I actually still enjoy world chat and I would miss it terribly if it was gone. While it's true that it isn't what it used to be, there is goodness and fun still to be found. Maybe I'm just a hopeless optimist, or maybe I would miss my captive audience for the nights I sing, or maybe I just really need to start watching television again....

Judging by what I have seen in WC, I think the current "mayor" is a perfect fit.

It's a shame, because I'm with Doom... WC can be fun, and really is nice if good folks are there. Occasionally, back in df1, it was entertaining. Then the mayor would show his face and it was time to find something productive to do........ One of those deals where you actually lose IQ points for watching.

I must apologize as I feel I spoke in haste. If there is anyone more qualified and eager to be a powerless figurehead of a once great place currently on its way to "Hell in a handbasket" I've yet to meet them.

I remember the days when it was lively, entertaining and folks wanted to help. Now it's full of angry people too old to act that way in 3D so they bring it to virtual world. Sick? No...SAD.

To be fair, Cricket isn't the only problem. I've said it before (even publicly, sober and uncoerced) that he is a skilled player who has the potential (and free time it seems) to do great good for the game and his choices confuse and sadden me. Sorry to be harsh on you in particular Cricket...it's the Mom in me seeing wasted potential that refuses to get off your back until you smarten up!
As for everyone, everywhere I think if we remember 2 simple rules WC would either become a happier place or completely silent. ..
1) If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
2) Treat others as you want to be treated.

Miss you all and the good times and patiently await the return of the fun, support and laughs of WC.

One last suggestion if I may while I'm at it....

If it can't be said to a 10 year old child...YOUR own 10 year old child with your mother listening perhaps it isn't appropriate for WC.

I've watched a few attempt to ruin the very FIRST thing people see when they enter this game--WC. Years ago if I signed in and saw that silly filth I would not have stayed and played---would any of us? The worst I was ever called was 'noob' until someone told me to fire at the red planes.

Begs the question, are they doing it on purpose when they know this game is for 10 yr. old kids and up? I hope not.

Look at the comments and likes, seems the vast majority of long term DF players agree. Be nice or don't post on WC.
