i just got a forced update to dogfight and the app will no longer open .i try to reinstall still the same app seems stuck

Hmm that's a bit weird. So do you think I might have the same problem if I choose to upgrade?

Edit: Well I just noticed without really reading the notice the first time through that it says I'm supposed to upgrade and it's required so do you guys think I should upgrade now or wait a bit till this problem gets fixed?

i had no choice it wont let me play without the upgrade so i had to do it

Well, he did say on another thread:

"I'm releasing an update for Dogfight on Android (finally got approval) but Apple is still pending. It only fixes all those weird new connection problems. It should be out on Android on a few hours.

If you don't have or can't get the update, just wait on the servers screen for 10 to 20 seconds. That will fix it because it pulls the data from the servers to guarantee you won't get a connection error.

But again, I do really really really want to stress that you should update to Dogfight Elite. All this stuff is fixed there on the spot and I can't guarantee any updates on the old Dogfight any more!"

Maybe you should do the thing he said in paragraph 2. Or maybe it's how we will have to say goodbye to the original Dogfight.

I certainly hope it isn't time to say goodbye to the original. I still have lots of fun on it and am trying to play alternatively... elite one day, original the next, etc.

Weird, it still runs on my Kindle. Figures, spend money to get a better tablet and it's the old one that works!

I thought that you were doin pretty good in elite BG. It just take a couple of game to get things figured out.

So since this update gave me the option to upgrade, should I upgrade and hope it works? ( I just thought this because it might be different for me cause it actually gave me the option). However if I don't upgrade I will have no chance of playing because if you read above to see my older post, it says that I am required to update if I want to play again.

Please help, this happens to me as well.. I tried to open it and redownloading it 3 times it would work.

it is fixed already on a new update, but it will take a few hours for google to propagate it

Hi Zup, great work on DF Elite. Am I allowed to transfer my account from Dogfight to Dogfight Elite? I tried login in using Facebook but it made me start from scratch. I was Air Comodore (14) now I am back to (3)
