Sad news indeed. From the beginning of my time here you were always someone who I enjoyed seeing in games, and enjoyed seeing on the forum. Your banner with Davy Crocket swinging at all those heads wearing wigs.. that was classic.

Mrs. Viper and I will be praying for your recovery and if I don't see you in the skies anymore I would like to thank you for all the great memories. "Uugh!"

So sorry to hear of your medical issues, Davy. Like the others who have posted and I am sure the whole DF community, I wish you a speedy recovery. You have taught me many valuable lessons along the way, both when you were on my side and when you were "red".

Sr. Davy, YOU WILL BE FINE!!!! GOD IS WITH YOU AND WITH YOUR FAMILY.




This is just something that will pass, keep your faith and we will all pray for your wellbeing every day. You have a Loving family at home and here in game that will cheer you. Your loving wife is your rock and she will give you all the love and support you need to be all well soon. And in case you do not follow the advice of your doctor she will hit you with a rock on your head to knock some sense in to you.


This is temporary Sir Davy, it will pass and it will go away. You need to rest and yes SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!! I see you playing till very late and then up at early morning playing again. I had to leave the game for 4 month because of similar situation. I went dizzy and short of breath, and develop what the neurologist calls panic attacks. She believes it was trigger buy my lack of sleep, because of study’s and goofing off DF. Combine with a bit of asthma problems it was terrible.


Please do not let depression take over, stay positive and always cheerful. And all players please KEEP IN TOUCH WITH DAVY, he needs your laugh to get thru all this. You will now visit new doctors with lots of lights and toys that will plug things to your head and in your hair; but it will all be fine in a short while. Most you need to do is go back to a good sleeping habit.


During the time I was not able to play I discover the forum and stay in touch with all that way. Follow your DR’s advice and your wife’s advice; God willing you will be fine soon. Remember stay STRONG, POSITIVE, IN GOOD FAITH AND REST WELL. A BIG HUG TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE!!! I will keep you both in my prayers and YES YOU WILL BE FINE AND BACK PLAYING IN A FEW MONTHS.


So no good byes or talks about retirement, REAL PILOTS FLY HIGH!

Doctor Gannet diagnoses dizzy spells caused by a overindulgence in corkscrew approaches.
Treatment: A 3 week course of sneaking. Refrain from any violent manoeuvres.

I have been a member of this game for 41\2 years plus and can honestly say I have only flown against u 3-5 times mabey at the most. Don't know what time bracket our servernu play in butt know u are a respected vet of the game. A true pioneer and homesteader of DF,I don't care for your squad,but who gives a chet just a game. I wish u the best of luck with all u your obstacles and health issues God trys to throw at u and overcome. Hope everything works out.

Sir Davy, hope you can resurrect the greatness in the skies you once had. I'll never forget being a noob, and knowing nothing of tactics, shooting stance, air speed, or posture. But there will always be the first time I saw you as red sir. It was earth moving. You stood still as the sun, and absolutely killed everyone and their chutes from afar, as the red team bombed, tanked, and took position. I never knew, until then, what it meant to be an Alpha in the DF sky. You controlled the game, you took it over. You made everyone play by your rules. Thank you SIR UUUUugh/Davy, for drawing that curtain to my sights. Loved piloting behind you to gather lintel, and going against you to learn defense, it meant the world to this Wolf.
