To be fair to Daniel, I have been in a couple of games and also in world chat when he was insulted in the most terrible ways. Yes, he was being quite vocal, talking up Germany and generally filling up my screen with a lot of unnecessary words, some of which were quite nationalistic, but he did nothing to deserve being called Nazi, Fascist or mass killer - and I can assure you that all those things were said. I lived in Germany for a few years and I know a few Germans very well. Those kind of insults cut very deep when the people we refer to have recognised the past and now lead the rest of Europe in terms of economic, cultural and social progress. If I was German, I would be rightfully proud and I wouldn't be afraid to say so.
Imagine calling every white American who proudly flies the confederate flag a nigger hating KKK redneck. Well, calling a German a Nazi just because he's German is a lot worse than that.
So, don't be surprised that he's angry. Wouldn't we all be?
