Then I saw someone mention that you did it in little over 3 months?!?!?!
Outstanding! Like Rudolph, it took me two years to reach it (part-timer) and refuse to upgrade my air plane (SE5a and Albatross)
I am not here to tear up the skies, but would rather have a fair fight
It has cost me a lotta lives against superior planes, but I am all about flying and dying and having fun doing it
CONGRATZ!!!
Slatz
Thank you for that gratz. You are one of my favorite players in the game. Not only are you an awesome pilot but you are quite entertaining as well. I can always look foward to having a good laugh when you are there.
I too am about having fun playing the game. I can care less about my stats. When I enter a game and there is only a noob there I will tell them to kill me. That I won't shoot at them. They never believe me until they get that first kill. Many ask why do I do this? I simply answer that I want to help you get better.
I will always leave a game if there are many lower rank players there and let them have their fun amongst themsleves. Having a higher ranked player there would ruin what a great game they can have with eachother.
With this said I have never been about getting the kills or padding my stats. They aren't that impressive anyway. I do in fact try my hardest against all quality players.
When I started here I fully upgraded my tier 1 planes to the max little by little as I earned money along the way. I flew with them until level 15. It wasn't fun at all getting killed like it was nothing. I got better in the head to head aspect but had no chance in a turn fight. Then I got myself the tier 4 Albatros d v and flew with that as I upgraded along the way. At some point I invested my own money to fully upgrade this plane because I realized that I was a better player but needed the extra help to compete with the other better planes and players. Especially in turn fighting. Glad I did too because now I was having more fun. I had a chance against the others.
Did this until I ranked up and was able to purchase the tier 7 Sopwith Camel with the money I earned. Upgraded along the way as I kept on earning. Then once again I decided to invest my money to get this fully upgraded. Probably around level 28. Before this point I was able to compete with others but had no chance in a turn fight against a good player in a tier 7. Now I could. Took sometime to develop the skills necessary to do so. It wasn't easy either.
At this point is what I consider fair play. No one will have a better plane advantage over me but it will fall the player's skill instead. As for others in lesser planes they will have to go through the humbling experience that we all go through. Their day will also come when they will have the best planes.
I took more than my share of beatings along the way. Whenever I noticed that my level of play was being held back by the performance of my plane is the time that I invested to upgrade. I almost wish I did it sooner but taking those beatings humbled me.
As for making MORAF at a speedy rate well that is only because I play so much. Too much. Didn't you ever noticed the "do not disturb" sign outside of the hangers. It's because I used to sleep in them. It wasn't because my kills were that impressive. Until I hit MORAF I can say that I only had a handful or less of 100 kill games.
I was also very fortunate to get some help from many players from all different squads along the way. That is why I fly solo and am not in a squad. Wouldn't feel right to me to choose just one and not my other friends that I have made here.
Lol...so wtf am I talking about here and why did I ramble on? Lmao...I talk too much that's why.
No I just wanted to let you know the player that I am and how I came to become MORAF.
