[AOV] nine ball wrote: Hey guys I'm writing this just got of work I was just asking for advice about work like is it normal to be this hard. I work at this food join called krystals most of u wont know it, heck I didn't even know it existed untill I was job hunting, but now I'm getting lots of hours of work that I think are not healthy for my body. I ride a bike to and from work and right now I just came from like a 9 hour shift, that's a lot for me since its like my first job, I know looking for a new job would make me look weak but if I keep working like this ill be 6 feet under soon, for example next week I'm working 37 hours, that's the 3rd highest amount of hours for the store this week, so just give me some advice on what I should do. Thanks
Nine....... one question:
ARE YOU A NANCY???!!!
NOT THE DREADED 37 Hr WORK WEEK!!!!! BE SURE AND PACK SOME PADS (You know what I'm talking about).
BTW you were on your cell phone during work hours? Your lucky you still have the job!!!
I'm only hacking on you bud, your first job huh, well welcome to the work force and the begins of being a responsible member of the community, you know a new tax payer.
honestly I had to really try and remeber my first employer that couldn't ground me. And I did. Jim Day Dairy Draper Utah...... God I'm glad I couldnt hack it and nd wussed out a mean 3 months into the job..... that was hard work man about 49 hrs a week and no OT, child labor laws weren't in effect then. I was 16 and about $400 dollars short of the truck I wanted so I asked for a job and all be damned when he quit laughing he gave me one..... It was a good learning experience for me, one that has set the standard for my career path and the reason I stayed in school so long.... i started At 3 am milked 230 cows washed out the milk barn and bottle feed the newborns all before I had to be at school.... those were rough days for Rap, its hard to get a date no matter how bad a zz your truck is when you show up to school covered in cow dung!!!! It was a cool truck though, 1976 ford high boy factory 4" lift...... there for a while it was just me and the big ol' truck cruisin down state... every now and again the breeze would shift and I would get my dairy sent thru the sliding back window... and dry heeve till the next block where I could make a turn......
suck it up nine, and it's not weak to leave a establishment to better one self, its rather ignorant not too.
best wishes amigo, inserts, I believe someone mentioned good idea to bring with the pads....
