After experiencing the inability to download the game without it stopping with an error, I was able to solve that by deleting all files in the C:\windows\softwaaredistribution\download folder. It downloaded, optimized, and went thru the entire video about the aces. It then opened and when past the Echoboom screen minimized. At least I am not alone any more, I seem to be in very good company.

Resolved! 2 things. 1st, be sure the user account you are playing on is not set to administrator.
Second, run regedit and check that all HKEY\ALLAPPLICATIONPACKAGES permissions are set to read.
