we are happy that you figured out the main problem. My suggestion is not to go for any update after fixing this, till you get free from the ongoing project.

Zup I read this and one of the last two times I became invisible was in a BTC mission, however the other one was a CTF mission thus there's no carrier to cause that glitch, maybe something else that you're not seeing, I don't know as I have no clue to programming.

[Edit] Just flew a BTH mission and after getting shot down the first time, I then became invisible again.

Still invisible this morning, Apple, in a bomb the base mission... I can see reds only over my base, icon see blues all the across the screen on radar and in the sky. No reds could see me unless over my own base. No carriers out.

Just updated (Android) and other players are invisible but since they can shoot me down I'm evidently not. Chat seems weird as well, almost like there are 3 1:1 conversations going on but nobody can see chat messages outside of one other person.

I'm on an iPad mini and after update the last 5 games I've been in were BTB.
In all those games I start out visible then at some point go invisible.

Ahhh...sorry, didn't see the Announcement post, just this thread. Well, I'm up to date as of this morning, anyway. :)

EDIT: So just trying to understand, if 3 players in a game are on latest version (say Android) but others (e.g., iOS) aren't, can the Android players see each other but can't see the iOS players? And vice versa?

EDIT 2: Zup, just read the announcement, and you reference carrier games. We've been seeing it in Bomb the Base games today, so it looks like it's not just carrier games. To be expected while things are in flux?

Can't help but seeing the humor in that, "seeing invisible planes".......but that's just mé.
At btc games dots on the radar fly off and on with lightning speed, they are really outside the map.
Jerries planes seem to spawn south of the western lake again.
....and some are complaining that I'm still invisible.

I'm on apple iPad 3, randomising from western Europe,.......is that northern Europe for southern Europeans?
It's all about perspective, isn't it?

What you have been experiencing during the last few days it is a strange occurrence in the dog fight world, that it is well known buy all pilots, but we do not talk about it too much, :dry: because we fear of it and the repercussions it might have in our credibility as pilots. :whistle: But I will say it!!! IT IS THE PLURIBUS TRIANGLE; :blink: yes similar to the Bermuda Triangle but this one makes you disappear and annoyed everyone at the same time. :P This is what makes it special! So for the next few days there is no avoiding the PLURIBUS TRIANGLE! :ohmy: So deal with it because Zuperman is on it. :woohoo:

invisible planes seem to be on apple RC flyer was on his ipad he was invisible he switched to his ms surface it was resolved but im having issues with tanks needing excessiv amounts of bullets for a kill

Invisible, I love it exspecilly when a well known bomb dropper from another well known squad ask me to leave the game when he and his teammate was flying around invisible themselves . :) I guess they need to visit the forum more often to know what going on. :blink:

CTF games seem to work the best. At least, for me anyway. Noticed that in those I'm most likely to remain visible for the whole game.

Lucky for me, I really like Capture the Flag!

Not fixed. Benstered was an invisible pilot today. Very frustrating to be about to bomb and get shot down by an invisible enemy. He did finally quit. Not sure what device he was using.

Sorry no, still invisible all over the map including sitting on red carrier.
Ipad2, latest apple iOS, wifi 84 ping, 15 mbps download, 11 mbps upload.

We should wait for a day or so when all users are on same update version 4.4.91. DF update for Windows just hit the store. So it will take a day when most of the daily players are on the same update.

I do hope the invisibility of planes is due to different version of DF.

Let's see by tomorrow whether it improves or not. And do ask invisible players which df version and device they are using to clear the picture.

I downloaded 4.4.91 earlier for my iPad and still invisible.

I think if Zup still has the older versions, to upload the previous version before all this happened, and then start working from there again.
