In honor of CRASH349 I would suggest naming a part of dogfight after him, you know like DUCKWING mountain was named after a great player.

Even would consider him a honorary MISFIT.

He loved dogfight as most of us do. Even though he was highly handicapped he still played dogfight.

Sometimes he had some strange games and we know that the morphine was affecting him.

ZUPERMAN, you should be pround that you have a game that so many of us regard as the best and most exciting game there is.

I couldn't tell he was handicapped...he was usually one of the first I tried to kill as he was good....and shot me many times. I agree...a part of DF should be named after him.

Aaahhhh, now I understand. I'd be in games with him and he'd be killing people left and right. Next thing, he'd start crashing at odd moments.

We could call the trees at the end of the German base the Crash Trees. I tend to run into them alot!

He was a good guy. I remember he always tried to help new players and was not afraid to call out anybody he thought was being a jerk. May call the snow map the "Crash" map. Lord knows i crash into the snow often enough. Any sort of permanent feature like Duckwing for him. Maybe instead of hamburger hill at south base it could be Crash hill. And i am with Davy, honorary [M]isfit status for Crash. He was all heart and no quit.

those flying trees might make a fitting memorial....theyre recognizable, and frankly i think thyve made all of us crash before...

Bummer to hear this. Another reminder our time here is precious, spend it wisely and with honor. Crash was a good pilot who understood how this game should be played.

When did he pass away? I was just in game with him last night… Was it today? This is horrible news

Maybe someone can make some honorary CRASH349 badges. Maybe something like the MIA flag, but with crashes name in it.Just a thought!

hE TOLD ME ONE NIGHT WHEN JUST HE AND I WERE LEFT IN A GAME THAT HIS TABLOT WAS ON A BRACE THAT BY HEAD MOVEMENT HE CONTROLED THE PLANE AND THAT WITH A STYLUS HELD IN HIS MOUTH HE'D SHOOT ,ETC. I TRIED TO RECRUIT HIM INTO GI (WHEN I FLEW GI) BUT HE SAID IF I ONLY KNEW I WOULDN'T ASK AND LAUGHED IT OFF. WE HAD MANY A LATE NIGHT CHATS WHEN IT WAS JUST US IN A GAME, HE EVEN TOLD ME HOW HE GOT HIS NAME ONE TIME WHILE WE SEARCHED FOR THOSE ELUSIVE TUNNELS. I VOTE FOR A PLAQUE ON A ROCK BY THE BENCH ON DUCK MOUNTAIN OR SOMETHING SIMILAR W/A BENCH OVER LOOKING THE OTHER BASE.
