the best option though, is to use facebook. If you have a facebook account, login using facebook in the forum, then tell it you are already registered and link the account
then do the same on dogfight, just press the facebook icon

that way they all will match you by the facebook number

I aint got no crown. Win 8 user. Linked with the game. Name is the same. I can see other crowns. Maybe there is a bit of a delay?

Update: I logged out of the forum using Windows. Then, I logged back in using the forum link in the game app. I got the crown now

My actual name is Stuart, which I use when talking on the forum with players I know. But the name on the forum, and the only name on the Forum screen is Wumper, while playing it is WuMpEr.

Exactly where is the forum button I press. What screen. While I am actually playing, there is no button "forum" on the screen.

There are two places I see a forum button on a screen. 1. Where the Trserver selection can be made. It is in the upper left hand side. It is next to two other buttons: Chat. - Sq. Chat. - Forum. On the bottom right part of that same screen is the word Subscribe and Back.

On another screen that has the selection titles: Practice. Settings. Multiplayer. In the upper top right hand side there is also the word
FORUM
WATCH
REPLAYS

So I have pressed both forum buttons and nothing.

Any place wher eyou see the forum button will work.
But
I think you first have to logout of the forum. So do this in order, from the game:
1) From the game, press any of those forum button to load the forum.
2) On the forum now, press the "logout" button, so you are out of your account.
3) Close the forum, go back to the game.
4) Press the forum button again in the game. If everything went fine, it should log you in automatically (remember, you were logged out on stop 2). And you should see the crown.

when you come back to the forum, you said: and sign on.
Did you have to manually enter your info to sign on the forum or your were logged in automatically?
it makes a big difference to figure out what's going on

I belive his biggest problem is his ingame name don't match his form name exactly .

Surely the name matching thing dont matter. I use TR here but fly as Mongo. No probs. i went the same on both a while back, long while zup needed us to, but that was it.

Well, that's the problem. Once you logout, when you try to get into the forum from the game, it should log you automatically into your account. So it seems the forum doesn't recognize you are the same person.
Try to match exactly the same name: Wumper
with lowercase and uppercase the same, hopefully that does the trick

If everything else fails Wump, try this Crown...

but the crown has nothing to do with the purchase. The problem is the forum system, this forum is not done by me, it's a kunena forum (look at the very bottom of the page) so I have to modify it to add stuff like the crown. Since it's not my system, I just don't get it right on first try.
