Recently, I've noticed an annoying trend: High-level players flying the first level of planes.

"Fantastic," you say. "They're putting themselves on an equal level with players who normally can't hope to contend."

Which would indeed be fantastic, if that was their intention. Which it is clearly not. Seeing they NEVER touch the Airco.

These are experienced players, with decent skills, using the single-wing plane to farm head-on kill-death ratios in bombing mission, and bombing missions only. They take advantage of a piece of equipment that takes up half a dozen pixels on a screen, to blast through players halfway through the field, then run out of ammo and start all over again. I can name a certain MORAF (I'm sure you know who you are) who I have never seen in any other situation than in a bombing mission, in an Eindecker.

My solution is simple. If you have swords above your head, and fly a mono, I drop. And I absolutely destroy you. And you quit, somewhere around 100% of the time.

But if you're playing like this, don't you DARE make me the bad guy for being a dropper. I drop when others drop, when I'm heavily outnumbered, when I'm out for revenge against a pilot, when lag gets extreme, and when a player with swords flies an Eindecker. I'll drop and drop you.

I don't care if you're selfish, and all about getting kills instead of team play, winning, and consideration. But don't pretend you aren't. Please.

I totally agree Mr. becken.

When all is said and done, this is a game of skill and strategy. I have flown against Firstblood many times when he has been flying the Eindecker and many times in other planes. Whatever plane he flies, he is equally deadly. If he wishes to use the Focker EIII in order to gain a strategic advantage in games for his team, more power to him! Yes, the Eindecker is hard to hit, but it is slow and not very manoueverable. It has advantages in head-to-head, but dis-advantages in other situations. Getting all worked up about it isn't worth it. Adapt and overcome!

There are many players in this game that do a lot worse than this to gain an advantage in any given game, if I were to try and count them I would have to take my socks off and also get my kids to do the same! My advice? ADAPT AND OVERCOME!

I love M.O.M. And it's great that they're dependable and willing to back me up. But I can also fight my own battles.

I'm not fighting Legends, I've told ya time and time again. Raunak, Killer, Zeek... They're all great pilots and great people. There are two pilots that I don't dislike, they're just fun to mess with because they take everything so seriously: yourself and First Blood. So leave Legends out of this, if you will, the same way I've never brought M.O.M into a dispute with anyone who had need with me. Please, and thank you.

I call First Blood "kiddo" because after my little name-change prank, he made a long, sorta-biblical post in which he called me "Kiddo" a solid half dozen times. I didn't bother responding, and am content to call him "kiddo."

Part 3: You, Sir Becken, play on PC. I, poor young Mac, play on a four-inch smartphone, where (as I may have mentioned) the eindecker is virtually invisible, particularly on snow maps. My single recourse in nearly any battle is to attempt to locate planes via tracer stream as is: I don't need a MORAF with a 3:1 kdr firing at me out of one.
I stand by my saying: Flying a monowing merits every bit of the dropping that so easily eradicates it as a threat.

I don't tell people to quit games, I just respond my way. You feel free to respond with yours.

The reason I made this thread, was that people were calling me out for being a "dropper." That's what got me annoyed.

pc has nothing to do with the plane size.. its scaled to the device I can barley see it as well so device has nothing to do with it.

No need to leave a server I'm in..I like a challenge

I always find it amazing how irritated some players are when their defeated.. I have those crossed sabers mentioned above, but over all I'm very much an average (when I'm hot) player, who for what ever reason finds head on shots next to impossible, and enjoys one of the worst K/D ratios in the game.. I have no problems being shot down two or even three times for every one in BTB/BTC games because I love playing..

The one thing I can do is shoot with a rifle, so here I am after being soundly "waxed" by anyone flying anything any number of times, hanging under a para firing my 35 lousy semi auto rounds.. And it's amazing to me how many people don't like it, to the point of making a comment about it.. "Rifles shouldn't count" .. "It's unfair" ..

Theres a point here somewhere.. OH! OH.. I know, it's about losing gracefully.. Age heals most all problems, or at least puts them in perspective

K/D ratios and losing is exactly what this is about, actually. I just felt an admittedly devilish urge to mention the pilot who did it most, who just so happens to be a pilot who holds me in disdain.

Well sense this isn't going anywhere im done here. I'm sure will do this again sense you don't intend to knock any of it off even after being asked many times by many people. Its just the usual for you and I would normally look it by but hatred plays a large part in this and obviously on your end to sense where you target.

Mac: Upset that higher level players are using smaller-hitbox planes to their advantage; and upset that these (same?) players are criticizing his bomb-dropping as a counter.

Opposing Party/Parties: Upset that Mac feels this way and how he (Mac) continually addresses it publicly.

There; everything's on the table, more or less. Everyone can and probably will continue posting on this, but there is very little that can be done to resolve something like this without either one or both parties leaving still upset.

Mac, as much as I love your well-spoken word choice, near impeccable (cold) logic, and satirical prose, you've got to stop choosing to piss people off. Unless, you enjoy that sort of thing (I acknowledge how you feel about being passive), where in that case, you and I both know this will keep on happening. In the latter case, I'm not sure what you hope to achieve through this.

Becken and Co.; I don't know what to say for you guys. I understand you're upset about something, and though I can't fully understand why, I suppose I can't stop you.

You know, back when I was a new member, I got into dumb internet fights on the game every other day. To be honest, some of them were amusing and engaging. But some were downright idiotic.
