I have kind of an interesting story about Zebra in captivity..
A lot of you know I work in the veterinary field.
Work for a specialized Veterinarian, so we see a lot of different types of animals.
Snakes :) Birds, dogs, cats, any animal with eye problems.
We also go to the Veterinary Equine hospitals in our area to see horses.
Well guess what happened to walk by when we were there...
A very very cute very young zebra foal :cheer:
The thing that really was bizarre was there was no Zebra mare it was following.
What they do is shortly after being foaled, like a day or something.
They take the foal away from the mare.
They found if they allow the foal to stay with the mare, they get to crazy wild.
So, they put the foal in his/her own stall, I assume that have to are now feeding them from a bottle, but
The most crazy part of it is they hang some jeans in this case a pair of Levi's.

The foal imprints to those like he would to the mare,
So as the foal walked by, someone was carrying the jeans and he followed them everywhere..

So that's just a the nickel of knowledge I know about zebras!
Happy to be one :silly:

Thanks for posting this beautiful Picture Snake!!

Thank you all for the congratulations,
Warms my heart :silly:

Good work Birdie. You know, I flew against you earlier today briefly and never even clocked the fact that you have earned moraf. I think I presumed that you already were. All the same, well done, good effort, it doesn't come easily.

Jet :-)
