Well Grey....thats not always the case. sometimes the banter is not out of respect as you mention...and truly Iam not being "melodramatic" but telling the truth...thats for sure.

Well shucks...... Not quite the way I was thinking all of this would go...... To be honest I was actually looking up "Bikini Cake Fighting" to try and get a funny photo for MOM page..... I saw that one and thought I would try and post something to help bring down the tone....

As many of us will remember, not to long ago, and also a little over a year ago. Forum got real heated and we lost players do to it, some were banned and others we tired of being corrected or subtly accused of saying this or doing that... I know that in life if I want to see thing go smoothly, sometimes I have to, stop what I am doing, step back, and take a look at what others may be seeing. Then ask myself "have I been helping or hurting the situation?"

We are all here for the fun. If I am continually finding myself in situations that have grown to take the fun away from all of this...? Well might just be time to look into the (3) fingers pointing back at me....

After the last bout here things have been different. Not like before when it was so much fun to read thru the post and laugh at all the silly stuff players were doing. You had to make a decision on, go fly for an hour or go catch up for two hours, so much scrutinizing has an effect (affect? Dang where is that Parrot anyways?)

Really I am just a few steps away from communication threw pictures so to be honest I'm still lost.......... however I really would like to thank you for stepping in for the Prof!!! And yes that would of been something he would of used to try and help (the helpless)....


Kids let this be a lesson..... Don't date your teachers assistant and blow off school because she can cover your grades..... Study hard!!!! Or 20+ a few years later... This could happen to you!!!

Dogfight in itself is a great escape from the world especially the forum, the person involved had no right in destroying this fun thread as he did not have to read it and was asked to leave it alone. However he would not, even after being asked. Now he took the fun out of something that we were enjoying. I fail to understand why folks cannot have threads whether it's on politics, religion or plain old goofyness for fun and discussion, after all the person IS NOT FORCED TO READ IT, IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEN DONT READ IT, DONT RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

Gentlemen, this has gotten out of hand. I watched these posts go from silly, to serious, to hardcore personal attack in less than 24 hours. Some try to diffuse the situation, others come along behind and light it back up.
There's a thousand different personalities here and a thousand opinions that come with them - if you invest the time and energy countering each one back and forth it will ALWAYS get to this point. If we behaved this way at school we would be suspended, if we did this at work we would be fired. Yes, this is an escape from those places but we have to bring some common courtesy with us when we log in.

I'm disappointed - upset in fact - with some of the posts on here from people I really respect, and ask that we all just let it go before it turns into something that will surely spread across the forum and into the game itself. And it will.

I want to thank Davy and Grey for the "thank yous" to my apology...With those "thank you's"...I take that as an "acceptance of my apology"....and as an "apology to Swop as well"...repetition over and over that results in hijack even inadvertantly isnt good and is the context of my apology...Grey...I also accept your apology for the "personal attack" and the words you used...
