Maybe this will stay maybe not....basically use it and abuse it.....show off metal you own, you have owned, you want to own or even justsomething that you have worked on....if it has wheels and an engine then it shall be loved here (we are not vehicleist here)

Here's one I built earlier.......

My dad's gto twin turbo...
3 piece 18" split-rims, uprated turbos (subaru impreza housing with ceramic bearings), bigger injectors and uprated fuel pump, large trumpet atmospheric piston blow off valve, large front mount intercooler with 3" hardpipes, powerflow exhaust system, evo 6 hood scoop, and a triple plate clutch......506bhp at the flywheel.

I'm too impatient for this kind of hobbies. I tried once. Bought piece of s*** Ford Capri, did maybe half of the bodywork and sold it to someone. Anyway, a friend makes a living with this kind of things. He makes and sells engine management systems.

There's a video from his garage. I never get bored to listen that sound. :cheer:

Had one of these for like 12 years. Big block 389ci, 4 barrel, and gobs of torque.

Only got caught speeding in it once...

The aqua one is exactly like the one I had. I do miss it. ;)

PS: Its a 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix

An old ninja ZX10 1988, brought it back to life. Now I ride it daily to work. Very quick

My weekend cruiser 2001 Heritage Softail. Not so quick, but it's comfortable.

My ZX6-R from my Reckless days in Pro 600 class, I used to love running in the rain because it is a real equalizer when you're outgunned by riders with more horsepower and deeper pockets.
The blue bike is a Yamaha R6, brand new, belonged to the dealership I worked for. No way I could afford to fix it if I crashed but I couldn't resist waving to the camera while the student I was instructing no doubt shook his head.... :woohoo:

Hey guys, i would like to know if anyone has or knows someone who has spare parts for a 73 MG B Roadster (not sure if its a mkI or a mkII) the one im trying to get my hands on to restore doesnt run so im not gonna know what parts i need till its delivered and i can take it apart to figure out what needs to be replaced. I would like to keep it as original as possible to protect its value so any and all help would be useful. I'll post a pic in case the brits amongst us know it by a different name. Also, if anyone knows the exact name of the green paint they used at the factory, itd be helpful for me to know when it comes time for me to have it painted. Thanks guys :)

Honestly, idk. Its my stepdads and i tried to pick his brain for details the other day but he couldnt remember. The owners manual is in the trunk and the car is in the garage buried under god only knows how much junk. It hasnt run in at least a decade so im figuring that the engine and tranny are frozen from not being run in so long. I did find a pic on the net though thats pretty close to the one he has. Here it is

If you have a flat metal dash (with glove box), instead of the pillow dash, it's a MKI '67. Best way to be sure is the VIN - if the last 6 digits are lower than 138401, it's a MKI.
Another way to tell is if it has a slim humped transmission tunnel its a mk1 and if it has a.wider flat tunnel then its mk2, I hope that this helps a little.

Im not gonna know for sure till it gets here. I havent actually seen the car since i was in highschool so im assuming the worst at the moment as far as its condition goes. I want to say its a mkII. I do know for sure that the floor needs to be replaced and so does the soft top and upholstery. The suspension needs to be repaired, i remember it being a fairly rough ride lol. The body and rims were in good condition the last time i saw it though. Mad, do you know how it would affect the value if i put wirespoke wheels on it? I like that look more than the stock wheels lol

Its funny you asked....wire wheels were one of the original options....if you can get some mg centre spinners then I believe it would make the car worth more.

Yea. Go through a properly licensed and reputable dealer. Do your research (carfax is helpful if you have the vin #). Going through a dealership may be more expensive but you just might be able to negotiate a written signed and notarized limited warranty should any gremlins rear their heads. Hope that helps :)

Thats funny. I did too. A -73 1600GT. My first car. Bought it when I was 15. (We are not allowed to get a driving license until 18)
I replaced the floor, thresholds and floor textile(don't know what you call it).
Then I blew the head gasket so I decided to put in a bigger engine.
Then I jumped of the road with it in ~60-65mph.
Hade to replace a fender, the front end beam, and both hedlights. I chose to put in two round ones insted of one rectangular. All that was left to do was the paint. Then I got my driving license...
That Capri wasn't meant to last. It ended its days in the side of a patrol car
Didn't only cost me the car. I lost my driving licenses too, both the car and mc licens. Never took a new license for mc. I think that may have spared my life.
I love the speed and I feel the horns growing out every time I get on a bike.
I'll see if I can find any photos of the car.

And now for something a little slower. 1973 Ford Bronco, about 60% done. Engine is a Ford crate 306 originally found in early 90s fox Mustangs, EFI & tubular GT40 intake, aluminum SVO heads, dana 44 in front, Ford 9" in back, both from a 1976 Bronco & loaded with 4:11s. It's got a number of upgrades over stock & I hope to have it running in a few months, but finished? Who knows.

Zeeb, how do you like the Pirelli's? Does the rear break loose going up onto the banking? Just curious - our team switched to Pirelli from Michelin and I didn't like the way they behaved on sharp banking changes but everyone told me I was just riding recklessly. I have to admit, I liked sliding the rear once my knee came up after the apex.
Is that a Jon boat hooked to your truck?
No wonder you don't have a tablet to play DF with - you have a red Italian money pit between your legs lol!

I LOVE Pirelli's! They are my favorite tire of all time.. both on motorcycles AND cars. Also a big fan of the Bridgestone tires.. which for awhile was the only company that made race rubber for 18" rims.

Yeah that was my buddy's johnboat.. we were bass fishing in a lake that you HAD to have 4wd to reach.. I have little Whaler that the engine had finally given up the ghost a few weeks earlier.
Yeah my Italian mistress is expensive.. she's tempermental.. but a fun ride.. that pic is the day I got her.. I have since added Marchesini gold magnesium wheels & a MotoGP/WSB grade traction control system.. plus a few more things both seen & unseen (go fast goodies!) My girlfriend hates Bella! LOLOLOL! I also have my favorite bike of all time.. a 1994 CB1000 but I have to find the memory stick that the pics are in.. I will post pics once I find it.
